Great, I’ll try and set it all up for Sundays raid. I’m not causing problems in anyway by running several options at the same time for monitoring am I ?
Hwinfo, process Explorer and latencymon can work next to each other. Don’t use afterburner or other overlay - just in case.
Did you guys find any fix to this? I’m having the same issue and it only happens on mythic and only on Orgozoa…it’s literally unplayable…10fps and under. Tried everything as well! Seems to be an issue with the game itself when it runs on my rig…I also have a 1060 ti
Hello. Sorry for the necro but I’ve having this exact same problem. Areas filled with fog (wcm, that zuldazar cave, some areas in drustvar) and bosses that spawn patches of stuff on the ground (last boss in the underrot and Ashvane specifically) give me horrendous fps drops. Is there away to fix it?
I’ve also got to add that on bosses like orgozoa, shivara and other similar fights it works perfectly. I think it’s got something to do with a particular kind of particle effect used in fog, clouds and some of the ground effects like ashvane’s.
Another thing to notice is that with the soul-crushing heat we’ve been having these days my pc seems to overheat pretty often. It’s not shutting down or anything, it simply does a crapload of vent noises everytime I set foot in one of the aforementioned places.
Yesterday i did last wing of LFR EP with i7-7700HQ, GTX 1060 Max-q, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd with stable 60 fps (i have it capped with vert sync on).
You may check background apps, close it one by one and see if it helps. Or just click “Search button” in windows, type msconfig, enter it, go to services, click “hide system services” and uncheck all, also remove each program from autostart, restart pc and try if it helps.
