Hi!
I am having an issue since i updated all my drivers. My frame per seconds dropped a lot, like 10 -20 fps. I have rerolled my driver but it didnt fix the problem.
I have 60 fps if im not near to a player but as soon as i get to a player my fps drops to 35-55 and its very annoying. Have anyone experienced this ever before? I would like continue my journey in this game
My setup:
intel core i7-4700MQ 2.5GHz
Graphics card:
Nvidia Quadro K2100M
And i may also mention that this is not a pc. Its a Dell Precision M4800.
Did you check in the Nvidia driver panel if your GPU is set to max performance mode?
Also, afaik the Quadro series does not work with the GTX/RTX drivers for gaming.
In some cases you can install the generic driver, but it won’t have all that validation for pro-usages. What could happen is that Nvidia started to dropping the support and the driver updated to like one of their legacy drivers or something alike.
As for Quadro K2100M it does have really low performance so the game may struggle although if it worked fine before update then likely the update is the problem.
- Run latencymon, then run the game and when it slows down alt-tab to latencymon - if it’s reporting problems likely your drivers are in conflict (like Nvidia and audio driver) and you would have to cleanly reinstall Nvidia drivers (DDU to remove) and/or also the audio or some other drivers.
- Run userbenchmark and check on the detailed results what’s the percentile of your K2100M. If it’s super low (versus other K2100M) then there is a problem with it (not only related to WoW) - like update to some odd driver (like one of legacy, not the latest it could use, or it has latest which has a regression against your GPU so you have to use an older one).
