Hello. I have strange problem after pre patch came alive. My GPU is Nvidia 1080 TI. Im running the game at ultra (10) but FPS dropped to 60.0. It doesnt matter where im, Orgrimmar or dungeon or BG. Its frozen to 60 fps, and just a little changes +1 -1 FPS. GPU doenst even run at high performance, temperature is low too. Everything changed after update got alive. Before that i was at 100-150 FPS. Second problem is that i cant use ray tracing. Game says i don`t have supported GPU, but Nvidia released update at May and said 10 series ( 60/70/80) will support it. Please help me if you have any suggestion, how to improve my FPS.
Do you have a 60hz display or higher refrehrates(75, 120, 144hz)?
If it’s 60 you most likely have vsync enabled, disable it to get over 60 FPS, but it will only produce more heat and unnecessary strain on the components if your monitor only can show 60hz.
Also check the sliders under advanced for FPS limits.
Your 1080TI does not support raytracing on a hardware level, sorry.
You need an RTX GPU for that.
