They’ve been giving 3 free days quite frequently the past few years. Ever since WoD launched I’ve seen an increase in the emails about it. It’s not once a month but definitely more than once a year.
Yeah a great gift that basically amounts to something like 1.29€
Don’t get me wrong, I am not against it either but just saying that there is nothing generous in anything blizzard does.
Few days ago I was at the end of my 30 days (1 hour left) I was doing some quests and I saw the countdown message in chat … Your account will expire in 15 minutes, then count down to 1 minute and kicked me out in middle of the game!
How generous is that?! why a guy who give you 3 days would not give you an extra hour or wait for you to logout?
Because he thinks that you will go pay right away to get back in!
Several friends have returned to give it a whirl. Some are sticking around too 
totally agree. It’s like every other strategy they have. Milk the cow

haha for a drug dealer to give you a free fix you need to first quit and stay clean for a few months. 
I guess since I alternate between lots of games I’ll never get my free fix :<

There must have been a recent mass email of these as I’ve seen a number of old guildies suddenly reappear who haven’t touched WoW in a long time. If they haven’t progressed chars through BfA though then it’s effectively giving them 3 days of rep grinding which isn’t really the best means of encouraging people back. I’m damn sure I’m not ferrying ALL of them around on my sandstone drake so they can quest more quickly! lol.
Yea what sorcery is this I appreciate posts like these we don’t have them enough from all the crying and bickering I see on this forum on daily basis.This is really rare so let’s enjoy this positive thread before someone starts bickering again

I stopped playing at the beginning of April, I was surprised to receive an email granting me 3 free days.
I activated it today.
I have no intention of sticking around though, but I will be back for Classic launch as I have a token in my bag.
A few hours left. Lost will to do anything. Waiting 10 mins for my “turn” in a world quest while hordies come and go and gank if you’re fighting the rare isn’t fun =(
