How does this make sense, german servers are terrible like that.
There is basically one big horde server (Venoxis), and one alliance (Everlook).
So desired servers are Venoxis/Everlook. But you open up transfers to Lakeshire? How does this make sense, Lakeshire is low-pop and its getting lower every week. Also Lakeshire is Alliance majority (95%), Razorfen is Horde majority. So what exactly is this gonna do?
All this does is force players on two low-pop servers that are the opposite faction to either stay on their low-pop server or transfer to a server and make it a 50/50ish PvP low-pop server. Nobody wants that garbage.
Open transfers from Razorfen/Lakeshire to Venoxis/Everlook. I’ll 100% not play Cataclysm on Lakeshire, it is super low-pop and filled with low quality players, there is already no more pugs on that server and all of the good Guilds have transfered off via Paid-Transfer.
Fix your game blizzard.

I sometimes wonder if the decision makers actually play the game.
Its just one bad move after the other since they apparently stopped.
I suppose when the massive crowds of players swarm quest objectives, the decision makers 
are eventually going to lower the global respawn timer, turning a blind eye to how that destroys the game for the non swarm scenarios. All brought to you by statisticians that don’t seam to understand that the low % pieces they are cutting out are the gems of the game!

They seriously hate Lakeshire it seems.
The biggest Horde PvE Server is allowed to go there. But Lakeshire is almost only Alliance. So those few Razorfen Alliance will just go to to Everlook because it got more Alliance than Lakeshire. And the Horde Players will probably go there too since it is the bigger Server. Which means Lakeshire gets no new Player again.
Why do they do this over and over again?

Probably a long shot, but please consider keeping Hydraxian Waterlords RPPvE. Without that, we literally have zero options for an RP realm on European realms.

ah yes, the super smooth launch of SoD is exactly what everyone has been dreaming about when it comes to Cata. A few days of endless queues for named mobs, no gathering nodes and lagfiesta.
There’s a few dead realms on that list, fair enough. But there’s several that are more than alive. I’m guessing it’ll only cement Gehennas and Golemagg as “pure horde” and Firemaw as “pure alliance” and all the faction unbalanced realm will move there.
And we moved off Gehennas pre Wrath launch as it was overpopulated and wanted to avoid the lag and queues. Now Blizzard are trying to get us back there (just to have us pay for transfers off again when it becomes unplayable, again).
Good job trying to build Cata hype with news like this.

This just makes no sense.
Almost everyone on Lakeshire wants to go either Alliance Everlook or Venoxis Horde.
Noone will ever go to Lakeshire this Server will be dead soon.
Just look into your recent paid transfers. Alot of Lakeshire Players already transfered to either Everlook or Venoxis.

This doesn’t make any sense. I used to know most players on the server. Most outside my guild have already transfered off to Venoxis or Everlook. There is no reason for anyone to transfer to Lakeshire as it is since Everlook is the more attractive realm by far and as the last few active raid communitys already decided to transfer off of Lakeshire, the remaining players will be stuck on a dead realm. They should at least get a free transfer to Venoxis or Everlook

I’m sorry but i sincerely have to state my utter dismay at blizzard completely throwing the RP community in the trash by deleting their only English RP server Hydraxian Waterlords. Yes, we are a very small community, but that is exactly why we need one RP server so we know where to go to find the few likeminded players. This is truly a sad day and I’m very disappointed in blizzard.

for the love of god, include lakeshire in the free transfer list. Server is super giga dead and the twenty Razorfen alliance players will definetly not fix that.

I take it your impeccable ingame support, the likes of which we haven’t seen since original Cata (totally not taking 7 weeks to respond without resolving the ticket issue) will wholeheartedly compensate when we eventually accidentally mail stuff to our main of 19 years, because our name is already taken on the server we never chose to move? Oh, and the gold spent on 7 separate guild banks (since guilds don’t transfer) will be refunded? No? Mmm, thought so.
Server’s fine, leave it alone. And while we’re at it, leave Hydraxian alone too, there’s literally 0 other RP servers.

You have mixed up Razorfen and Lakeshire here. Lakeshire is a dead realm with 0 horde and a very small alliance. Everlook is one big alliance with 0 horde. All german pve horde players are on Razorfen.
You need to enable Lakeshire → Everlook / Razorfen for healthy servers.

So a 99.9% alliance server gets the choice between 1 99.9% alliance server and 2 99.9% horde servers.
This is not a choice.
Dropping a logistical nightmare of server consolidation on the players week before a prepatch where a lot of folks are on break from the game is peak Blizzard though.
Not to mention the signal value of y’all blatantly just screaming “we think Cata is gonna suck”.
