Bit confused as to why Earthshaker is closing down when it is medium populated, just as its destination realms. Plus Gehennas and Golemagg are 99% horde, meaning Firemaw is the only option for Earthshaker refugees.
I don’t have my character names reserved there. Rip server community identity.

Razorfen Horde lebt warum sollten wir uns selber zerstören und aufteilen um dan ein schlechteres spiel Gefühl zu bekommen last Lakeshire einfach zu Razorfen kommen und ich denke das wäre für alle ok
scheinbar möchte Blizzard mein Geld damit ich auf einen für meine Spielart auf den richtigen Server komme viele Horde Spieler 90%+ warum sollte ich auf einem Ally Server spielen.
Meine kosten wen Razofen geschlossen würd 80-95€

Another mention to please keep Hydraxian Waterlords RPPVE. Without that, there is literally zero RP options on EU realms. Some people like playing on smaller realms, why are we suddenly now pushing for everyone on megarealms? A few years back, you were saying how servers like Mograine and Nethergrade Keep are totally healthy, they still are…why has this changed now?
Medium/small realms are still the best, they fit much better for the world’s size and design, and you play without layers mostly. Why are we all being forced onto giant realms, some of us don’t want to be there.

I am seriously in disbelief.
Blizzard, for the umpteenth time, ventures into one of its classic choices to alienate its users and, inevitably, ruin what little good remains in its games.
Do you have the slightest idea what your character means, in an RPG, for a player?
Do you know what it means the community in which that character grew up?
Do you have any idea of the attachment behind a name, what that name represents and the stories it carries with it? Its adventures? Its defeats and its victories?
In a single question, have you ever played an RPG?
Clearly the answer to these questions is “NO” otherwise you would not have made the decision to close the only RP server -Hydraxian Waterlords for your information dear Blizzard- of the game! A server with low population but nonetheless with its own soul that lives through the narrative intertwining of its characters and not for the mere interactions between PC-NPC-LOOT. A server where a name is the harbinger of a story. Where a weapon, however old and blunted, is kept by your side because it is part of you.
I know very well that from your point of view, made of mere data, the closure of a server is the most logical thing; inevitable. Sure. Anyone without a shred of experience in RPGs would reason the same way. But the existence of an RP server is not because it must be “full” but because it itself is the soul of that game, the most romantic and emotional part.
With your decision you intend to kill the RP within an MMORPG. Well done.

And another mention to keep HWL. For heaven’s sake, we EU RPers who don’t want to play on Era have literally no other option left. We do not want to play on a mega-server - if we did, we’d have taken the FCT off ages ago.
Please let us keep our little space. At least one.

Another voice for keeping at least Hydraxian Waterlords among the smaller realms up. As previous posters said, we actually choose to stay on that server. Because we -gasp- like, nay love the small community, the silence, the level of game immersion these low pop realms offer, the roleplay we may participate in, the feel of seeing familiar figures in the streets.
As a suggestion, you could offer free transfers to Hydraxian from the other smaller realms if you really actually have to close them, for some reason or the other, for those among your players who BY CHOICE do not wish to play on overcrowded mega servers where every pixel of city space is used up by someone. Believe it or not, we do exist.

#Danke Blizzard, jetzt wird der einiger der wenigen Server geschlossen, auf den eine große Horde Spielerbase ist. Jetzt wird auch noch alles daran gesetzt diese Basis zu splitten. Warum wird nicht Lakshire auf gelöst? Dieser ist auch nicht viel größer als Razorfen. Ach ja hab ich vergessen ist ja ein Alli dominierter Server… . Mal wieder echtes Fingerspitzengefühl… #Danke Blizzard

Well there is nearly twice as many raiding horde on on Mirage Raceway compared to Nethergarde so I would take this opportunity and get on there if you plan to play horde pve.

This will destroy Playerbase of Razorfen 100% and force us to pay for Faction Change or Transfer to Venoxis. Oh wait… thats what u probably want $$

my girl and i payed over 200bucks for transfer from everlook (a damn allie server) to razofern only to get kicked of that server because blizzard feels like it ?
i guess i now just quit wow and start playing leaque of legends again !!!

If you want to switch off servers, then let Everlook and Lakeshire trans to Razofen. Or Lakeshire and Razorfen to Everlook.
This will remove 2 servers and revitalise one server.
The current solution will tear the horde of Razorfen apart and is a stupid decision.

Could you consider just closing golemagg as well and transfer all pvp players to firemaw and gehennas? No one will choose golemagg as destination realm when Gehennas is twice its size, so only Gehennas will grow and then the end result is 2 pvp mega servers and a golemagg population that you make needlessly suffer before inevitably having to close Golemagg and transfer people to Gehennas anyway. Might as well do it now and save players on Golemagg the pain.
