I could never play on a server like firemaw to start with, but i suppose alot of people like the ease of access to content. Think its a bit ridiculous thinking you cant play and enjoy the game on a diff server, options are limited that i would agree on, but the options you do have are pretty good. I still like to recognize the people i run into in the world and enjoy that my server doesnt even have a 2nd layer. I personally hope it stays that way for a while.

I’m still just stuck alone on a dead realm waiting for Firemaw to be unlocked. All of my online friends, irl friends and guild mates moved there a month ago. Now I’m coming back to the game unable to play it with my friends. Please fix this issue…

Well, having it closed wont fix things.
Thank you for closing Firemaw, the last weeks have been great with no 4 hour queues during primetime.
As a bonus all bots that get banned can’t create new accounts so most farmable materials have gone up in price giving players a time-efficient way to make gold that’s not just GDKP/Boosting.
I hope Firemaw stays locked until later into WotLK because I can imagine a lot of players with characters on Firemaw will resubscribe causing queues again on launch.
For the people and bots that want to play here: I’m sorry we’re full.

Firemaw is closed for a reason, contributed to by your friends.
I hope it never opens again until there are no queues at busy times.
Also it is not an issue, it is done on purpose.
Oh really? Well my friends moved from a dead server to a server with good population and balanced factions. How are they at fault here exactly? You’re just being selfish and u can’t realize that it’s up to blizzard to fix these issues (over density and queue times)

I can’t see how you can’t see that they and people like them are the reason the realm is locked in the first place. Moving to the most populous realm in the world.
Me being selfish, what about you? You are the one who wants to move there and make the problem even worse. How can they fix the queue times? Technology can only support so many players on a realm at once and your friends and others like them have increased that, and you want to make it worse for everyone else too. That’s selfish.
Blizzard should have locked it months ago when queues first started to happen, and this is not a Blizzard problem, it’s more of a player created problem and Blizzard should have been quicker to do something about it.

I mean i get the whole measures taken in order to stabilize the server but wouldnt it be reasonable people who got max lvl chars there raiding to be able to move alts on the same server at a point?

It would - if you would be willing to transfer witout anything but the shirt on your back, as what they are afraid of is alts takin free transfer off to return loaded with stuff from empty servers.
They can take all my gold and my BoE sellable items for a transfer for all i care, but dont touch my soon unobtainable naxx gear!

Personally I wouldn’t be against people who are already there moving alts on the same Warcraft account if they have a character above a certain level but in my opinion if it’s on another Warcraft account (in the same Battle.net account) then they cannot do it.
This is because they cannot use more than one character at a time so wouldn’t add to the congestion.

Hi, how can you have problems in 2022 with so many players on the server … I want a srver that is not dead. Unfortunately this is not possible because it is locked !!!

earthshaker is more then alive. its your brain telling you the only server alive is 30k+ @exioq. also we have 2g50s haste pots and 13g flasks… stop being so blindsided by the community, your server doesnt have to be 30k+ pop to be “alive”. earthshaker and golemagg are good servers, stop being so stubborn
people like you that all transfered to a server declared as FULL are the reason firemaw is such a sh*tshow… its a bad server, if u think that is your solution, you are lost. id argue that ES and golemagg are in a much better position then firemaw

You might want to reconsider that, Horde panicked from being “only” 40% represented (used and comfy only at 60%+) and ran away while there was a free multi-jump possible

Blizz f-ed up Firemaw with this whole thing which is ok… s*** happens… but now I have to pay for transfer for all my toons just to be able to play with more than a 100 active horde players??
How is this even fair? Why don’t you just open up free transfer then to anywhere from anywhere… cause this is really unfair for some of your paying customers…
