if the realm had the option to free transfer to maybe only 1 or 2 realms it would be more enticing to transfer.
However with 10+ there is no guarantee or there IS a guarantee no-one would be willing to transfer. But if there is just 1 or 2, then we can assume a larger majority would be willing to transfer so the new or existing realm would receive a larger portion of firemaw to continue to exist after the exodus.
This is a farce and will not resolve any issues created by your negligence. Start merging servers already.
I am one of those who paid to transfer over here, our server was dead, we staid alot longer then most but when the AH was also dead we couldnt stay there any longer. No one to make a group with and no way to buy what you needed and could not farm. Me and my fiance paid 75€ each to move over. There is not a chance in hell i risk doing that again so you dont need to fix a problem you created with players being able to pay to get to a new server.
These queues are a problem you made with your greed. Having these long queues in a pay to play game is not acceptable. Like someone said before i will rather just press unsubscribe then moving again and risk needing to pay again to have a playable pay to play game.
Can we please get free transfers away from dead realms, you seem to be ignoring this issue. We’re down to less than 500 characters on our realm.

Yes. but before my partner transferred I healed his tank on one of the now dead servers. It is not fun OR playing the game spending 2h trying to fill a groups DPS. The realm was medium at this point. Many of the realms we could transfer to either are already this way (outside of peak times) and also have the potential to become such also during peak times. Why would anyone originally from these servers risk transferring only to have to transfer again in a few months time when they can’t get their daily hc groups or old raids running again?
In trying to “preserve” the classic experience paid transfers should have been disallowed - they weren’t in the original game; only free transfers to create balance in the realm populations. In allowing paid transfers, the dying of realms has been sped up.
Blizz - you have caused this problem by allowing transfers for so long to a full realm, lining your pockets in the process.
Retail had connected servers even before sharding; it can’t even be claimed the technology for this doesn’t exist; and the community knows it. As others have already said, this response, and continued inaction is completely out of touch.
Did some intern access our dear Community Managers computer and write this? You seriously can’t be this out of touch. I guess the developers are pretty good actors since during the last months announcement it almost seemed like they do care about the game. But I guess that’s just todays Blizzard for you!

EXACTLY… I enjoy world pvp as part of the overall game, that’s why I play on a PVP SERVER! For alliance there isn’t a single alternative to Firemaw which has a decent amount of alliance AND horde players.
If I wanted a one faction server id just play a PVE server anyway…
There’s literally no other alternative to Firemaw unless thousands of people coordinated a move, something I can’t influence…
