That is the worst logic Iâve ever read. Nobody is going to leave Firemaw just to have their abandoned alts back. Period.
As if that should ever apply to alts.
Everybody should already know that whether you have 1 character on a realm or 10, you still count as 1 person on the realm; 1 person in the queue.
Whoever doesnât know that has the IQ of a bag of rocks, or the IQ of the average Blizzard designer.
Thatâs pretty much your own opinion, there are two alliance guilds that already left because of the queues and the unusable AH.
If you think that everyone doesnt have lvl 1 placeholder on every major server, then you are wrong, it would have no effect if it wouldnt include low lvls.
If you think itâs hard to check activity, youâre wrong.
Opening transfers to realms that you have ACTIVE characters on isnât difficult. Active as in, played at least 10 hours within the last month.
Not difficult, and itâs a much better solution than opening server transfers from dead realms to dead realms.
And people being able to move their alts to Firemaw affects that how, exactly?

I would love to transfer my warrior out of mograine.
I got really excited when I saw the free migration pop up. Unfortunately the way it is designed doesnt really provide much value for players that are interested in playing with their previous friends. When the destination servers are limited to ones that you have no connection to you still have to pay to migrate, Which I guess is by design. Waiting to see a change with a better design in favor of both players and servers.
Nobody is going to leave one of the two functional servers to play on a dead one because of queues. Get used to it, or you can leave. Firemaw is Alliance server now.

In that month, you could have just levelled on your designated realm anyway.

Do we know if there are gold restrictions per transfer? Paid migrations have a 5K/character limit, but nothing in the Free Migration article.
So where are some of the Hordies considering moving to from this list? If there can be a decently healthy enough realm even if not overloaded, that would be nice. It is what drew me to ZT in the first place.
Though hopefully we donât move somewhere that ends up fading into obscurity again
