Free Character Transfers Now Available For Some Realms

Check the shop section of this website. I do not know for sure whether the free transfer option should be there this particular time, but when I used it years ago I did so through the website, not through the game.

Why can’t I flag this as activision trolling community since it’s just a cheap and disrespectful way to cover your own shortcommings? Maybe fix the servers instead of moving people around?

You can’t cancel it , it’s in the FAQ. Even support can’t help you.

Yes while one went through I need to wait 2h and 22h for 2 others toons.

my other ones went through fine like 2 other ones were done in 2 hrs i guess in hindsight i should have done my druid first :frowning: was needing to wait until a meeting was had with my guild too reeee >_<

Because even the latest and the greatest hardware has its limits and some servers are so crowded that you literally cannot buy better hardware at the moment.

Either you take the opportunity or you don’t but don’t complain about queues if you don’t

They literally says there, it will take time because the system will be busy as hell and there is no way to cancel migration. There is nothing do other than waiting, seems like its not worth it.

It’s all cool when we play free to play game. But we double pay for WoW (game itself and subscription), so one would expect some better solutions.
But if their only solution is to move people around - give them 2 free transfers - one for moving out of Kazzak, 2nd one to move back once launch peak passes. At least this way activision would show some respect towards their costumers. Now the 2nd transfer will be paid service which is not cool at all.

Good Morningg Blizzard, still with the same problem with the mess “action house active”. Any solution? Or the transfer is a troll joke?

Because that wouldn’t solve any issue. Full realms have the largest communities but also queues it’s a package deal.

Besides this time free transfers let you go to a realm of your choosing with the exception of other problematic realms. So you can even go to high populated realms like Stormscale, which seems like the most popular destination.

I have plenty of Kazzak characters and during “normal” periods there are no queues or lags. So it’s only the time when all people who came back to wow for 1month floods the server. Later it will normalize. You can’t force people out of active servers, so other might enjoy it more. We all pay same sub cost.

And after next patch again 2 free transfer, new expansion again because servers like Draenor or Kazzak will always be full, laggy etc.

If you chceck realmpop sites there is like 150k players on Draenor and ~115k on Kazzak.

Its a lot of players, A LOT. So even if 10-20-30-50k people will leave Draenor it will change nothing in further expansion or patches. It was always like that.

I played on Draenor since Cata or so and there was always problems like that when new patch or expansion comes out.

Me and as far I see many Horde players going to Stormscale which has now ~30k players and its still really crowded realm.

There is and will be enough players to play long after everything chills down so don’t worry if you leave. You will find players to play with.

So you either choose to live with that or transfer away. Constant realm hopping benefits no one.

If the transfer worked!!! But not :expressionless:

I once did a mistake leaving active server with my ex small guild (~12 people, back in MoP you could raid HC with 10ppl) to raid in less active one to avoid queues/lags (Silvermoon → Killrog). 1 month later guild disbanded and I had noone to play with, half of ex guild mates transfered back, few went horde and only 1 stayed on killrog. I didn’t want to pay for transfer back to Silvermoon, so I simply had to relevel new character in Silvermoon from lvl1 (back then we still had very limited cross-realm stuff).

This is why I advice against transfering from active servers to less populated ones.
For example if you want to raid mythics casualy 2days a week (thu/mon 19 - 22 ST) - chances are you will have much much much easier time finding such guild in a big realm than in a small one. Even in Silvermoon when I was looking for 2days raiding guild - there aren’t many. I can only imagine doing same in Killrog.

Yes, said 1d 14h when i went to bed, roughly 12 hours ago from posting this comment. I’ll see if it done by time I get “off work” (feels weird saying that consider i work from home).

That’s fair I guess but then you get same outcry when there is login queues again.

Can I flag your comment for being arrogant?
