Free level 50 boost to returning players

How come they get the expansion and a free boost? People who have been paying/playing all this time are not worthy of a free boost?

What? Why? It makes people like us feel like suckers for paying for this all this time and we don’t even get the boost. Like you said if they had kept it at free expansion I wouldn’t mind, but they are getting a £49 service for free.

Tbh this offer should have been given to anyone who starts a sub.

They need to stop trying to win people back and focus on potential new blood. SL isn’t gonna bring any one back, but it could have tempted other peoples’ curiosity.

Oh god, they are still prioritizing getting ex-players back?

They left, history. Need to stop living in the past. Look ahead, adapt, win!

And the best place to start would be by giving me free boost.

There won’t be any new players when 50% of this game are still playing because sunken cost fallacy of FOMO’s. Too much stuff that disappeared over the years doesn’t seem attractive to a new player.

Not to mention that Blizzard’s decision making to reeling in newer player ended up with us and that horrible new tutorial they created.

Maybe it is time for this game to become free to play, no monthly sub.

I know this would attract all manner of toxic trolls but I think we have got enough of those already, more would make no difference.

Who wanna start a game that needs toons of addons just to play raids and dungeons at max lvl?

Fix the game before and people will return for sure.

I may be wrong but I don’t think there’s a lot of potential for entirely new players.

All they can do to increase revenue is (I) milk existing players with additional paying services, and (ii) get former players to come back. And try to do (i) and (ii) without losing existing players and while incorporating « diverse » developers whose main talent may lie solely in their diversity. So a tricky exercice.

People who are losing a day or less just to level up.

I know big whoop, but for people with limited play time, day or less is still a lot.
