Free level 50 boost to returning players

I brought this up earlier but instead I got attacked.

So existing customers get nothing?

Looking at the new “event” where people are automatically getting Shadowlands gifted for free, alongside a boost. I don’t really care about the expansion given for free, however, I bought the standard edition of Shadowlands back in the day and a boost was not included. So someone that did not buy the expansion, nor subscribe to the game, get more rewards than someone who bought the game and subscribed throughout the expansion? Makes sense?
