Free to play wow?

Not worth the 13 € month but you can make 30k each day if you play like 3 or 4 hours so its free to play and pay to win ofc since you can buy gold from store and buy a boost to anything you want

Wod was 3 times more enjoyable than this shadowtrash.

Content drought is similar in sl and wod.

Pvp/ wod wins
Zones and music- wod wins beside nightfae zone.

The few raida where more awsome in wod.

Dungeon design more awsome

More alt friendly.

U shoot urself in the foot quiting wod and enjoying sl more:))

Gluck, to each his own!

I disagree, WoD zones are one of my favourites…But SL zones culminated in quality - it associates me with WOTLK but in better way. And zones are so different, they got some “depth” and contrast.

This is a pretty subjective, and is only fair to compare properly once SL has ended, as you’re comparing a full xp to start of a new (and WoW expansions tend to have a bumpy start, WoD especially was hated at the beginning)

True, same for any XP really.

Agree to disagree so far, and also first a fair comparison once we’ve had more seasons in SL.

If you have an Orc fetish, I guess? WoD raids were some of the most dry :poop: beside a boss fight or two.

Grimrail was pretty awesome. But again, too few dungeons and they were all pretty much the same, so back to Orc fetish comment.

This is true, but SL could yet be made more alt friendly, Blizzard tends to do that with the systems they add, so here’s hoping, especially since they’ve been listening a lot to the community so far in this XP, compared to Legion/BFA.

I don’t know about ESO, but GW2 has plenty of end game activities to make its player-base happy. The game is doing just fine activity-wise.

Free to play = more microtransactions, can even lead into p2w extrem

Blizard shoud do actions to attract more people, like gief newcomers 3 moonth free, or gief newcomer 6 moonth 50% discount, after first sub pay offcourse, so people can try the game and get chance to hook up… They shoud also care better for old customer, for example if someone subed for last year, why just not gief a guy free moonth or two? or somekind discount.

GW2 has a niche yes, but it’s not a end game like WoWs realistically.

ESO also delievers to its audience. But these games aren’t built for a amazing raid scene or something but games are far more PvP focused. And progression is effectively a after thought in both games.

Not saying that’s a bad thing. But I’m saying their models are built to fit a b2p model. WoW simply isn’t.

Ironically I’ve just started investing time into gw2 kinda nice to log on and do whatever I like without feeling like I’m forced to progress on some tread mill…

And it offers fractals which sound like decent 5 man content 🤷🤷 maybe a win for me :rofl:
