Due to Russia’s treacherous attack on Ukraine, as a non-Russian, I don’t want to have anything to do with this nation and it would be great if Blizzard would allow us a free transfer from RU to the EU segment, as many online games have already done. At the same time, Blizzard will keep those players in the game who, by an unfortunate coincidence, play on the RU segment. The community has already split and those who are against the war already refuse to communicate and play even with those who are neutral about the war. Let us please stay in the game along with the civilized players.

Given there are plenty of people on this side that either want ukraine to lose so “gas prices become normal again” or think russia is in the “right” or remain neutral i find this assumption of yours highly debatable. You will find just as many of these people over here as well.
Also you have a way better chance by directly writing a lengthy ticket to Blizzard and request the transfer because of reason X that way. Your thread wont get enough traction on the EU forum. If you use a forum you should use the US forum given you have several characters on the US servers as well to post over there. But even then its unlikely it would get enough traction.

Will I am 100% agains the war I also don’t really see why you want to punish all of the Russian players. I am sure there are many that support Putin, but also there are many who don’t like him and want the war to stop.
I remember seeing a video where some guys were going to Russian people and they asked them about the war. Due to the censorship a lot of older people just didn’t believe in the war or they were saying that like Putin is defending their country. But most younger people knew about the war through social media, and they were totally agains it. By punishing Russians who play WoW, you are probably punishing younger people who don’t have anything to do with the war. Ofc there are also many who are for the war, but I am imagine there are also people in many European countries who also support Putin…

In any conflict, in any war, whether cold or hot the censorship is on both sides. And its genuinely ridiculous how you call it out only on 1 side and ignore everything else, inconvenient facts.

The OP is in favour of splitting the community away from Russians, and in my post I just stated my opinion on that. I never said my opinion about who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. I just wanted to say that my opinion is that we shouldn’t punish all the Russians as that will literally do nothing good.

RU and EU are not separate from subscription. You can start a new char on EU server anytime, especially when leveling is very fast now. And maybe you should have done it when there was the 50% buff (it was the war time too).
The biometric data on a modern passport is stored on an embedded RFID chip. Unless you invest in a chip reader, and decoder, and explicitly upload that data, then just scanning a passport does not contain any biometric data.
This is because of the client. Not because of the license. The OP for example has his russian and english characters running over the same license as we can see through his collection. This wouldnt be the case if they were two seperate licenses as for example his US characters who run over the same account do not share his collection as its a seperate license. Its the exact same case for my US character.
That the cyrilic client nags when accessing latin servers is widely known.
