Free week for returning players

Someone told on the general forums that there is currently a free week for returning players to explore the pre-patch.

Have I been lied to? Cos after downloading the game, I do not have a week of gametime.

If this ā€œsomeoneā€ is not a Blizzardian or does not link an official Blizzard source, then itā€™s a plain lie indeed probably from a troll.

I saw this person mention something about a ā€œfree weekā€. Did not get a response from them when I queried.

When i logged in yesterday, I could play the game without an active subscription. Today I got the message to activate my token, so I activated it. Now I still canā€™t play cause of the black screen issueā€¦

sry i just saw that.many many times a new patch comes out and im not subbed which happens a lot i get a gmail from blizzard giving me 1 week of free gametime to play the patch.im sry if this isnt the case this time and i was wrong.i should have written that ā€œi assume they give a week freeā€.i dont know for sure if theyre giving a free week.my mistake and im sry

no,that was an assumption from me because it happened to me many times via gmail.im sry about it.i should have expressed it otherwise.it was no troll it was a mistake of mine.i take responsibility for this mistake

it might happen to some players from time to time.i dont know how they decide to give this free time but they dont give it to everyone

this is the last gmail i got from them.this time was 3 days.other times is a week.i assumed they give again free time for people to test the patch and i was wrong i didnt check it.im sry again

There is one thing to remember, trial or veteran accounts (ie one that has had gametime but doesnā€™t now) now have an upper limit of level 20 not 10.
