Freezes after each loading screen

Since 1-2 days ago my game freezes for quite a few seconds after any loading screen.
I have tried the trouble shooting method and reseting UI.
Uninstalled addons.
Repatched and Scan and Repair.
Disabled addons.
Put WoW process on highest priority.
Put in cvar_default.
Updated graphic card drivers.

None of that above helped. Seems it might have something to do with a new patch or pre release content.

Seems like we have a reason. It will be something regarding guilds and cross realm guilds. Tested on my DH after leaving guild.

I have the exact same problem, no addons etc. I have the problem on two different computers aswell.

Same here, pretty ridiculous as I´ve tried many things myself already including fully reinstalling the game as well as my addons, reinstalling GPU drivers (I have an RX 6600 with 24.5.1. drivers installed right now).

I sent a support ticket a couple of minutes ago as I´m left dumbfounded but I´m glad to hear it´s not just me, it´s happening to a friend of mine as well and I see other people online too.

Same also. This started a couple of days ago for me, and would resolve after around 30 seconds.

Now though - it just stays frozen, and I have to close down the game - so unplayable.

Have tried to login three times, but it just wont load.
My fps shows stuck at 9fps.

OK I just tried to login again x2 This time I disabled all my addons.

The screen freezes immediately, then I have to reboot my PC, as I cannot tab out.

Also I have noticed my CPU temperature rises to 83 degrees Celsius - far higher than normal.

I have a 7800x3d cpu a RTX 4090 and Wow is installed on an M.2 drive.

I did have problems when the last patch came out, and had to change my resolution scaling to 100 percent (instead of 98 percent) as suggested here on this forum.

Same here. I did most if not all of the above tips and tricks before going to forums. I troubleshot yesterday and today. Today though I’ve been 100% stuck even with removing all addons and everything. But only on my main >_< Gotta go check alts in the same guild I guess… so dumb…

Wow. This seems to have fixed the issue FOR NOW (!).

Small indie company moment I guess. And the response I got to my support ticket was basically AI telling me to do things like " update GPU drivers "… which I literally said in my message I even did…

just tested on this DK i am posting on and an alt.
This DK is in a smaller guild, had no freeze.
The druid alt is in a big populated guild and had the +10 second freeze.

Game can freeze even if you are not in a guild. There is something wrong with Legion Dalaran. Every time when my mage move there I have around 10 second freeze. Freeze happens only on my mage and only in Legion Dalaran.

Got the same freezing after loading screen problem while in a large guild. I was able to fix it by disabling guild news. Open guild, info tab and click to set new filters. Uncheck all the boxes (especially the guild achievements).

Have same problem, freeze after load screen. Dont want to leave guild, so tried contact support, but ofcourse they just said try reinstal that i already did few times.

My guess is that’s something related to asset streaming (probably the audio). Yesterday I was doing the keg Brewfest daily in Orgrimmar when everything froze for a few seconds. Then I realized it was because the DF airship arrived.
