The solution to this is to /gquit
Go through any loading screen = freeze for a few seconds (more than 5 seconds, less than 10 seconds).
This only started happening since yesterday
Enter instance = freeze
Leave instance = freeze
Go through portal = freeze
hearthstone = freeze
Anything with a loading screen = freeze
All AddOns disabled
Graphics lowest
I have a 4090 and 128GB RAM, latest drivers - spoke to multiple people in game experiencing the same issue.

After loading screen completes and freeze begins:
Character is visible
UI visible but cannot interact; mouseover does not display options such as tooltips or key highlights - chat does not update either (UI are things like chat/portrait/map/action bars etc.)
No other characters are visible including NPCs until the freeze is over
PC itself is not frozen, just WoW

Yep, happens to me too. 5-10 seconds after a loading screen the game is frozen. Music continues playing, though, but thatās it. It resolves itself after 5-10 seconds.

I read from another thread that the problem is related to members of big guilds. I can confirm that.
Fix confirmed: /gquit
OR
If you go to your guild āinfoā tab, and click on āClick to set news filtersā, thereās a lot of checked boxes.
if you uncheck them, it fixed my freezes each time I was loading a new instances.
I previously unchecked them all, but it seems Blizzard re-enabled them automatically with a server/game update.
Came here to say I got to the same exact conclusion. Tried creating a new character and had no issues, and when I went back on my main and left my guild, it got fixed. The issue came back after rejoining.
Other than this, nothing Iāve tried fixed it: addons, fresh WTF+Interface folders, different servers, played around with resolutions and graphics settings, tried emptying my warband, clearing my quesdtlog, removing my transmog, etc etc etc.
Only thing that works is /gquit.
Hi guys, after checking your post, it reminded that a previous freeze from the start of the war within.
