Baguette MMORPG “Dofus” has the most alt-friendly leveling in any MMO, thanks to a very ingenuous system.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The experience you get on your alt is MULTIPLIED by the number of characters whose level is higher.
Example:
Your Warlock main is level 117, he gets x1 XP rates. No change.
Your Warrior alt is level 102. He gets XP x2.
Your Mage alt is level 83. He gets XP x3.
Your hunter alt is level 42. That’s XP x4.
And so on.
We all know how mind-numbing it can be to redo ALL the quests you already know, and to spam the spam the same easy dungeons with people who are all dead inside, grinding like robots.
Once you’ve done it a few times, leveling in this game becomes a choir, and not something to be enjoyed.
There could be an option to disable this system for people like you, like how you can block XP entirely to stay at a low level.
Most people wouldn’t mind faster leveling I do think.
Wow has heirlooms . I never made the math but u get 50% or more from looms .
Anyways blade and soul 2 had a very friendly lvl-ing process , surveys along the journey with rewards , explaining how abilities work and so on .
Only shame that leveling isnt realy that big of a problem, u got looms, u got that 10% potion for 5 coins ( forget curency name) …also wm bonus. Leveling is ez.
Whats most people are upset imo is a lot of stuff they have and need to do on daily basis to be viable… Just look at essencies, they are basicly only reason im not play alts, its so boring to do them more than once
I played it before WoW, it is not a game you can play by yourself.
Its a lot like Classic in the sense that if you want anything done, you need friends and groups.
Granted, I played it back in 08 but I remember it being really punishing to new players with it’s critical misses, buggy pet AI and insane aggro ranges.
