Hey Warlocks! So i came back to the game and thinking of new start to play a warlock cause thats the only class i havent really played. Kinda wanna know how warlock are at high lvl. Pve/pvp wise. Thx in advance locks!

Hi! It depends on the spec and what you’d like to do.
Before you pay too much stock to what the forums have to say, it is worth noting that unless you want to push the highest possible keys and be the best in the world, everything is pretty much viable.
Affliction has recently received some hefty single target nerfs to some of their end-game conduits, but if you didn’t play it then, you won’t notice much of a difference. It is currently lacking a bit in single target but is great with AoE. I’d expect it is going to get some ST buffs soon too.
Destruction is good and I feel like it is safe spec to play, I personally am not keen on the playstyle, but if you like big numbers and blowing stuff up I’d recommend.
Demonology is a bit more niche, it is performing very well in raid environments and has good single target but can be awkward to master. In PvP it is also good but takes a bit of ramp up.
All-in-all I find lock to be a fun and diverse class with good talent options and the theme of it is cool. As with evertything, some spells and talents could be optimised but overall I think lock is a good place to be

Warlocks are too outdated to be taken seriously in pvp
I suggest Demo for 2v2 and Destruction for PvE in general.
You may check some raiders and think Demo pumps but there is always 1 or 2 PIs involved.
Meh, it pumps without PI. It just happens to benefit more from PI than other classes/specs because it has one of the strongest CD’s in the game.

In PVE they have a lot of options. Great single target, great cleave and some of the best potential AOE in the game.
PVP no idea. Almost every thread in here gets filled with PVP cry posts, so you won’t have to look far 
Destruction is a beast in m+ currently and demo in raid. You probably don’t want to touch affliction in 9.1 at all.
