Now I know we’re one week out and we’ve heard nothing, but come on guys, we’re dealing with a small indie company and a ftp game.
It’s not easy getting people to volunteer their free time and a big release of a completely new game is a big deal.
Give them some time. I’m sure they’ll get around to giving us some kind of update.

Communication is not one of the design pillars, I guess. It has never been 
In my country, we have a saying , to let something banish / rot out. Basicly pretend that the problem does not exist and do absolutely minimum to none, to deal with it.
At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the only news we get, is seeing a bunch of new server names on realm select when the pre patch maintenance is over lol.

They are probably getting people to triple check their posts and weighing up whether they post anything at the moment.
If they actively engage with the community right now their posts will get derailed by RDF comments and anger towards them. I suspect any future posts will just be informational and there will be very little interaction until the dust settles.
Are you worried about the Horde population? I don’t think it will be an issue, if anything people lean Horde these days.
However if History is any indicator the PVE server will be where Alliance dominate because Alliance players want to stay away from Horde domination on the pvp servers.
Speaking of communication: what is your exact question?
I don’t have a question. I’m trying to bring attention to the plights of our indie company overlords.
