Fresh servers are DoA. Seriously stop asking for fresh, they just die in 2 months.

Fresh Cata server are probably DOA, i agree. The fresh server for WoLK didn’t fare well. I was on one of them.
But a fresh TBC server, with the promise to evolve to wolk in time has a chance to not be die in 2 month.

Because there are 80 post about fresh servers already and its always the same answer: “Fresh servers die in 1 month or 2 if you are lucky”.
I’m sorry that is not what you want to read but its what it is. And Cata will be fine without 1 or 2 dead servers added.

I am looking forward to cataclysm, but i understand other people feels differently, and would prefer reroll on a new TBC or wrath server.

Sure, but that doesn’t change anything. Fresh servers die in 2 months. Its not my fault that this exact same post its posted once every 2 days.
what do you gain by expressing your contradictory opinion? or do you usually talk for the sake of talking? i know this may seem like it’s malice, but it’s a genuine question of curiosity.
Fresh vanilla didn’t die in 2019.
Fresh SOD didn’t die in 2 month
Fresh HC vanilla didn’t die in 2 month.
Why? Because there were no other option, no other server offering the same experience.
Currently, there are no option for a TBC server (i mean TBC as an endgame, not a leveling zone). Hasn’t been for more than a year.
I am not as convinced as you are a fresh TBC would die in 2 month.
Not going to happen though, not in 2024, it’s not on the roadmap. This things take time so set up and are planned usually months and years in advance; perhaps in 2025.
i find it interesting that you claim to have been on the fresh wotlk servers yet fail to recognize that the only reason they died was because they created a second server a week after and then opened free transfers making the two new servers mono-faction. at that point there was no reason to NOT transfer to the mega servers.
I don’t recall well, are you talking about PVE vs PVP server? My recollection is that they initially planned only for a PVP server, then decide to open a PVE server. I don’t remember transfer so soon, perhaps you’re right.
yup they immediately killed both servers with unexplained transfers. they opened the second server because of people complaining about being unable to log on due to queue times.

Yep, at launch it was impossible to play in the fresh server but after literally one month everyone came back to their main inone of the non-fresh server and both fresh servers died extremely quickly.
I still think that if they released RDF in those fresh servers, the tourists would stayed longer that they did.
There should be. All other servers are unbalanced. This is the only reason im not playing cata.
