Since Blizzard decided that it will advance Wrath servers to Cata because it’s too much work to have servers copied like they did for WoW Classic, the only solution I can think of for people to continue playing Wrath would be for Blizzard to open fresh Wrath servers but allow people to pay for a copy of their character into the new fresh servers.

I don’t think they want to do it, because they think it would fracture the playerbase. And while I definitely would prefer a wrath era option, I can at least understand their rationale.
What I wonder as a compromise (not that anyone from blizzard that has any chance of doing this reads anything here on the EU forums) is that they might snapshot our characters on the last day before the cataclysm update and later, when they feel it is time to open some wrath era realms, we’ll be able to get our characters at that point back from day one.
How u can make"FRESH" realms with opened transfer for s8/t10 chars ?

Yea, I don’t think OP understands what FRESH means. What exactly does he think is reset? The AH? Content releases?..strange request…
It likely has nothing to do with the amount of work required. Do you remember what the vanilla era servers were like in the beginning? The ones that nobody played on? That became a meme that ever content creator milked dry? Now do you think Blizzard is enthusiastic about another round of LOL dead gaem videos?
Vanilla era flopped HARD, it only began to attract any amount of players worth mentioning this year. Releasing subsequent expansions (and vanilla classic) however has been a great success, which is likely why they are doing what they’re doing.
I think this is something they will probably do but it will certainly be in the future and not compete with other releases.
There is another solution: return to private servers.

Blizzard does not want to copy Wrath servers before Cataclysm. All servers will advance into Cataclysm.
We want to continue playing Wrath on official servers.
One solution would be for new Wrath servers, and a copy character service unto these servers before Cataclysm drops. In this we way get to play Wrath without losing our progress.
