Freshly dinged brewmaster needs advise about UI/Addons

Good day,

I just dinged 120 and i want to go tank.
I would love some help regarding a decent UI and addons.
Many thanks for your assistance
Just about any unspecific nameplate addon to reduce their size so the screen isnt cluttered but you can clearly see and identify each cast. Wouldnt say anything else is of much help.
I use tellmewhen to have the ironskin brew buff next to my character, although managing it comes from muscle memory at this point
Heya.

WeakAuras, to me, has been a big help to me playing monk (decently)! I personally use an Ironskin Brew weakaura, which makes a sound for me when it's 1 second from running out so it's easier for me to keep a 100% uptime on it without overlapping it (which leaves me plenty room to use purifying brew properly) and personally I find it to the best addon because you can customize it as you want. I could always upload my modified ISB WA for you if you wanted but there are different ones out there also.

I personally made my own WeakAuras set for cooldowns such as Breath of Fire, Dampen Harm, Fortifying Brew (defensive set, basically) etc. Also I'd suggest to find a proper addon/weakaura for stagger tracking as neither ElvUI's and Blizzard's UI -> Stagger bar are trust-able afaik.

Can also use https://peakofserenity.com/bfa/brewmaster/guide/ for some good info.

Hope my input helps a bit.
I personally use nameplates addon and TMW (TellMeWhen) which I configured myself to see remaining time on my ISB (Ironskin Brew).

I also use SUF (Shadowed Unit Frames) as it shows my stagger in a nice fashion under my energy bar combined with Bartender4 for some elegance in the UI.

And that's pretty much it.
Standard frames and ui actually have all you need(stagger level isb track and so on)

No, the standard stagger indicator (the debuff that changes colors) is terrible since it gives false image by going red at 60 % stagger which hardly tickles.

Get the normalized stagger WA from Peak of serenity that was linked above.

ThreatPlates is good for tanking. When you have aggro they turn green, no aggro is red, so that makes it easier to gather up stray mobs that attack your healer and what not.
And there are alot of nice weak auras on wago.io
Afenar is a favourite of mine, I use his auras on most classes and specs.
If you dont wan't a complete set of auras there are also auras just for stagger for example, or if you want to create your own TellMeWhen is pretty user friendly.
For party frames the standard blizzard raid frames are great.
And for player/target/focus frames I use Easy Frames, they have a wider class colored health bar that's easier to see at my age :D
And you should probably have some sort of boss mod, like DBM or BigWigs/LittleWigs.

Just google a bit and look for UI’s you like.
Also it’s a good idea to start to think what information you actually want and need.
Do you realy need your enemy’s unitframe or do you look at their plate. Do you want your action buttons in the centre of your view or can they be placed lower.
Same goes for castbars, partyframes, DPS meters etc.
Think of what you want/need and look up other UI’s for examples.

Me watch only numbers of stagger and health/healer’s mana. If ma guy healer is full and it’s no hard strikes coming I don’t even bother to purify.
