Friend list missing in game and problems messaging friends in-game?

I’ev tried removing addons and the friend list is missing in game. I can’t see anyone on it, at all.

When I message people through the battle.net app, it labels their chat tab in the game like “Chat 11”.

It looks like this after messaging them as well;

I can’t respond to them in-game, I have to respond through the battle.net app.

If you close the game and open it again, it usually resolves itself.

I’ve been noticing this happen a lot at peak times, like raiding or busy times in ZM.
