Who are we?
From Scratch is a brand new guild started in S3 of TWW, with a vision of building something long lasting: A community that helps one another, shares knowledge. No ego, no drama, no hate, where all are welcome no matter your experience.

Goals: Building a Friendly, welcoming and safe place for all. :dracthyr_nod:

Raid/Event Days:
・Fri/Sat 20:00-23:00 main raid
・Trainee raids/m+ ran on Sundays 20:00-23:00 (On hold until more interest)
Mindset: Casual and community oriented. :dracthyr_tea:

Currently 8/8HC and looking for more members to join us in our re-clears and M+ in preparation for Midnight :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

Who am I?
I’m James or Volt in-game, I have struggled with throughout the entirety of my life is social/general anxiety and have never found somewhere I have truly felt at home, I have tried so many guilds over the years and have found it difficult to find my place/make friends within the already established friend groups most guilds have, which is in part my problem as I feel my anxiety holds me back in really trying, I know there are people like myself out there, who this guild is aimed towards (though all are welcome here) which is why I am structuring the guild around helping players with building confidence and stepping into the content they may have been too anxious to try.

What we offer?
・A safe, non-judgemental space for all. :dracthyr_love_animated:
・Raiding with each seasonal goal being achieving AotC (this raid team will be open to all, if you want to raid, you’re in no one will be excluded, along with learner raids biweekly to help out any anxious players who would like to learn at a slower pace.
・M+ runs happening most days of varying levels. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:aThere will be a biweekly event for anxious players who would like to get some experience in M+ (once interest is there)
・No-drama/toxicity, it will not be tolerated. :dracthyr_no1: :dracthyr_no2:

Who we’re looking for:
・Players of all experiences, new, returning, experienced, raiders, M+ players, casual/social players we welcome all.
・Players of all roles/specs are welcome.
・Players who are maybe anxious about getting into raiding or M+
・Anyone looking for somewhere to call home (in-game :dracthyr_hehe_animated:).
・Anyone looking for somewhere that is not lifeless outside of raid times.

We’re also in need of Priests, Shamans, Evokers, and Rogues interested in joining the raids, though all are welcome.

If you’re looking for a guild who offers the chance to learn at your own pace feel free to reach out and join us in Season 3 and be part of the journey as we head into the next expansion Midnight!

If you’re shy like myself and just want to hang out in guild/discord for a while with no expectations of communicating or attending events that’s fine too, I want people to move at their own pace and feel comfortable. No pressure to do something you don’t want to.

I am looking for a few officers to help manage things.

Hello nice to meet a fellow James :wink:
I am a casual player looking to make friends, help people and just enjoy the game again.

I enjoy all forms of endgame and can bring many classes and specs to the table if needed.

I would like to ask if you run normal raids as i would love to run them with a bunch of freinds and not random toxic peeps, in the past i did Mythic raid but im more looking for a Normal group and maybe we could try HC.

Hey, your guild concept sounds great so far :slight_smile:

But I have two questions:

  • Are there any ambitions to raid Mythic someday, or at least try 1–3 bosses? :slight_smile: (Just casual - not hardcore)
  • What about guild size? Are you planning to build a large guild, or keep it cozy with 25–40 players? :slight_smile:

So far there are no plans for mythic, things change though and a lot will change before we get to raiding as I want to discuss plans with those interested in raiding when we have the members.

I’m planning on the guild being mid-size but again things change :smiley: depends on the interest if we end up with a lot of members theres no reason we couldn’t run multiple raid teams.

Small update, We’re up to 17 members right now, hopefully in the near future we’ll have our first M+ event going.

Possibly even have our first PuG raid.

Hi!

Semi-casual player with an on-off relationship with the game because I burn myself out. Looking for a guild such a yours with no pressure kind of vibes and a nice place to be.

My goal this season is clear HC raid to go on my growing list of AotC raids, and also hit over 2k M+ rating. Also enjoy being social, and just relaxing.

I main ret pally since I started in BfA, but also play Frost DK and want to learn some more classes at some point.

Completely get the social anxiety issues as well; it’s like a state of mind for me! :neutral_face:

Hey there.

Being a player that normally avoids drama and pugs meant that finding a welcoming guild was important, luckliy this guild approached me with understanding and honesty.

It takes effort to start a new guild but also to maintain the original reason for starting, so far the guild has delivered. Very welcoming to players of all skill levels and experience but also acknowledgement of real life being priority.

If you seek a safe space to play how you want then this guild could be that place. Reach out to the officer team and ask all the questions you want, they’ll happily answer :grinning:

:dracthyr_yay_animated: Hey all, small update as we are about to start our 3rd week of raiding tonight.

We are still taking on new members of any class/experience level, whether you are a social player/ M+ player or casual raider or someone returning from a long break as many of our players are.

For raids specifically;
(These are specs/roles/classes we either have low counts of or even 0 that we’d really like to up the numbers of).

  • We are looking for 1 Main tank + a DPS player that is flexible and can play tank if ever needed.
  • We are looking for more Ranged DPS (Shadow Priests, Dev evokers, Ele Shamans, Balance Druids)
    Full on Hunters/Warlocks and Mages specifically for raids.
  • There is the potential of taking on an additional healer also (Pres Evoker/ Resto Druid would be a great addition).
  • We can happily tank on some more melee classes too (DK/Feral/Enh)
    Druid and Evoker of any spec are a high priority currently.

All are still welcome to join us, though we cannot accept anymore Hunters or Warlocks for the raid team as of the moment.

Still currently looking for a raid leader!
+1-2 more people interested in an officer role also!

Potentially looking to try out the first few mythic bosses at some point, if we get some more new members interested. (Heroic re-clears will remain priority)
