I think you can get a very good idea based on the current toolkit, as to how they will end up. The problem holy has through BFA it feels like has been that to buff them in m+ would make them OP in raids, because there wasn’t many dials to turn apart from throuhgput. They don’t have strong personal survival cd’s, or cc, or much utility at all, to play with which can let them be stronger in m+ without making them op in raids.
Mind soothe was a nice little addition, but it’s such a weak spell it doesn’t really solve the problem. Holy still gets far more punished for dealing damage than any other healer, and doesn’t really bring anything but pure throughput which is often at best on par with the other healers.
I think holy should more work with buffs. So buffing a friendly dps would also result in more damage groupwide. The priest does not need to do it himself and yes, if 1 class deserves a combat res it is holy priest. Add maybe an instant ‘oh sh t’ -button on whatever longer cooldown and the class is way better without being broken.
Hpala is doing well in 1.5 seasons in bfa M+ and now it is an abomination? It was the 4th healer in uldir and 3rd in M+ in s1. And still resto druid stays the best M+ healer for forever.
Holy priest is most simple healer, huge lack of defensive cd and movement much beyond talent / i wish healers had dps rotations beyond just random dmg abilites.
With abilities connecting on each other.
What a nonsense you have wrote that explains why PvP is dominated by 4 classes/specs no one does it and it is each expansion going down and down adn down.
All class should have same abilites and then different abilites.
This is like saying INTERUPT should have only 3 classes from 12.
Stop with that joke when you know every class has own movement ability and self deff cd.
Welcome to a cooldown dependend class And still resto druid in M+ is on the same level I understand a swiftmend is allowed to top a player, but 3 buttons during a cooldown is not allowed to top some players.
I just holy shocked myself. 82 415 heal. As a crit.
Glimmer is 14.5k. So we do not holy shock multiple targets. And yes like i said; welcome to a cooldown dependend class. At least 50% of the time we dont have it up.
Like every time in WoW, (at least for not world first candidates) the game is balanced enough that no spec is truly obsolete and people can manage with it.
But still since people naturally seek the path of least resistance, they will still put too much attention on any way to optimize their group with the FOTM class, race and covenant.
