Frost 2h but with CRIT+HASTE?

Crit has always been the (hell no stay away from that) stat, but I have an idea in my mind that crit is secretly the meta for 2H. This idea is for PvP and PvE.

So think, if you are stacking crit you will earn more KM procs from your autos, ALSO, your froststrikes will actually crit, which thats the thing, froststrike is actually pretty strong (when it crits), not to mention just everything critting, whereas right now all our other abilities other than oblit barely ever crit with the current builds people do.

Then add haste as your other stat and well I dont think that needs explained everyone should understand that 1, but 1 thing to add, with haste, even more KM procs with more auto’s.

What am I missing here? I get mastery makes everything awesome, but man, as far as I can see the crit dmg alone is gonna out scale it, then you get 25%+ haste on top of it and you will be looking like a monster. Adding on the mastery proc from SL and you could be looking at something that doesnt just rely on the 12 seconds of pillar, you can now be bursting almost constantly. A few KM procs in a row will get CD’s from healers without even having to use Pillar, right?

Most of this cant be testing now with oblit being so terrible until SL, but let me know what you think, im planning to give this a proper go in SL.

Crit / Mastery might get you somewhere.

Interestingly frost will scale well with every secondary in SL, although you could probably focus less on verse for pve.

u will probably want to get near 20% of crit/haste (maybe less crit with obliteration) and after these soft caps go for mastery.

but ill wait and see before researching frost for SL, it looks like a parkour rolercoaster in changes

I think it’ll be something like haste 20% > crit 30%> mastery > vers

Don’t play 2h frost in it’s current state.

Literally doing 30% more dps on every other class n spec on Beta @60

Go make some noise if you want viability
