Frost DK in PvP Question

I don’t want to stop playing DK. I’m not one of those players who feels the need to play whatever class is the meta—DK is simply fun for me, and I genuinely enjoy it. I’m focused on PvP and hardly play PvE at all. I’m also not a pro player; I’d even say I’m still learning the class.

I have a few questions:

  1. As a Frost DK, is it currently possible to kill a Discipline Priest or any other healer?
  2. How do I maximize my damage with the Pillar of Frost talent?

Every time I go for my burst, other classes just run away, even though I use Chain of Ice, *
Blind, and Frostwyrm to slow them down. Basically, every other class is jumping around the map with insane mobility, making it nearly impossible to catch and hold them in place for the duration of my burst. Is this just the state of the game right now due to the nerfs we’ve received, or am I doing something wrong?

I won’t give up on the class—I’d rather struggle with it as it is than switch—but I want to master it and learn to play it properly.

try without the new pvp talent on remortless winter maybe, all people know about this one cause of the first week

The frost dks goes are frustrating as a design becouse players start to use their tools to stop the go or go out from that area. Plus blizzard fix the prompem so, ur allies can see the radius frome pillar of frost “remorseless winter”. Area effect,
My advice is,do your go as you said and be patient.and protect it with your tools. Grip blind remors D&D* Pillar Sydra abo-limps. If knock back like shaman resto pre use “death charge” for priest maybe you need to use 2 grips one to take the fade and after grip blind.(Rotation).Abo limps. Something like that.

It’s very messy to get a full burst of AOE damage.

You have a multitude of spells to cast to make it effective.

The movement speed reduction should be slightly reduced as people do just run away and frankly, that huge aoe combo is about the only good thing going for frost DK.

It’s not very sustainable dps and nor is the survivability of it. It feels like a cloth wearer to be honest and very vulnerable.
