here I am getting set on fire in solo shuffle because I didn’t take [Glacial Spike] in the talent tree.
I’m having trouble using this 2 sec cast spell. When I look at the pvp guides on YouTube in the prio I see: frost bomb >orb > Blizzard instant > Ice Lance when proc > Flurry → 2 Ice Lance> nova + Comet Storm> Ray of Frost+ 2 Ice Lance. Am I missing something? After ± 500 game solo shuffle I’m pretty comfortable with this build but maybe I’m making a mistake?
Also someone can give me some advice about handling two melee dps. A bit hard sometime
Best tip movement wise I can give you is to check out aeghis on youtube. He has great guides and duelvideos explaining how to kite different classes! Sbest of luck!
Basically we make use of our 3 blinks and alter time, knockback and freeze.
I am by no means a Glad level player so I don’t think I can be a massive help but as Copyrights has said, check out Aeghis on YouTube, he really breaks alot down for people to understand why he’s doing things and what you should look for etc. Really helped me when I picked up mage.
In relation to the Glacial Spike issue you’re having, it’s your character, play it how you want, don’t let others dictate to you what you should and shouldn’t be doing. Personally I LOVE the massive number from GS but the cons that come with that, I HATE so, I don’t play it at all. I also don’t play with Comet Storm just cause I don’t like that it’s a wet noodle. So all I really play is Ray of Frost with Cryopathy to tie in with my burst.
I’ve never had anyone comment that I don’t play GS etc and have had some nice success with the build I currently have. Sure, it won’t meet everyone’s taste and people will say x build can do so much better, but, do I enjoy my playstyle just now? Yup. Does it work for me and what I want to do in the game? Also, yup.
Checked Aeghis vidéos, was very helpfull and I finaly got my 1k6 pvp for the elite skin. That’s all I wanted so I’m happy now =) thanks for your answers
you cant handle 2 dps melee or not, reroll hunter bro, all instant casts feigh death every 30 sec to counter that ray of frost every 60 sec… he has self healing he has bubble he was mobility and constant slow stuns and pets that are constant dots, for me the real deal for ranged dps is hunters (easy to play and effective) locks (harder to play and masters but once you do they are effective chaos bolt is going to kill you) and SP’s (locks with pocket healing…). Mages are pure fancy trash if you ask me, especially the frost spec. It was supposed to be a pvp spec but its not. You better reroll hunt lock SP, let the mages dissappear maybe blizz realize and do something!?
