Still breaks after single shattered Ice Lance crit, so has little to no usefulness.
If they wanted to give damage break protection talent for Frost Nova, it should just make Frost Nova (and maybe other roots if that is acceptable) unbreakable by damage for first 2-3 seconds. This would both reach their goal in a more reliable way and prevent Frost Mages from losing damage in Mythic+ because their allies broke the root earlier than it could be utilized.
