Just a small reminder to Blizzard if they can to fix something that bothered me in WOD. So Frostwolf outfit you can get by grinding annoying Rep only for it to be “leather only” which is silly cause Frostwolf lore is about them taming Frost wolves, they are mostly hunters and shamans.
Please make it a cosmetic for all armor types or make it also available to Mail wearers. This ruins the hype for a Frost wolf Hunter with his Frost wolf pet.
It’s never too late to fix past mistakes especially with time-walking these days.

I agree but, not Plate. They already have so many awesome tmogs at their disposal.
Also, pls send gold, my cat demands it. She will kill me otherwise.
Mail wearers are the ones that need more tmog options…

Honestly…. We have the ugliest transmogs in the game. The fact they gave a transmog option that is supposed to be for hunters in lore to leather wearers angers me a lot.
There would be a lot more Mag’har hunters if they actually fix this problem. I can’t see myself Roleplaying a Frost wolf now. Nor would I waste my time unlocking the transmog. Kinda annoying.
Is that set still obtainable ?

It should be, yes, just have to grind tanaan for it.
The advantage is that you can also buy a toy that transforms your gear into the armor set. As far as I recall it may drop on death though.
EDIT: I double checked, and the armor ensemble is still available at the vendor. Requires revered with Vol’jin’s headhunters.

Yeah but wearing a toy isn’t the same as actually having the Mog transmoged.
It doesn’t appear on armory, it breaks in combat/death, and it has a cool down.
I much prefer they fix the transmog to be worn by all armor types as a cosmetic OR be available to mail wearers. I would totally play a Mag’har Hunter if this was the case.
The armor should be available for mail wearers, yes, since it is connected to a tribe who has a lot of hunters and shamans who wear this set (or make a similar, more mail looking armor for mail wearers, either works.)

I used time walking to get rep with Vol’jin’s headhunters ,but that npc that sells ensemble is not rendered for me when i go there :S
The headhunters don’t appear for me at all. I went to the marked map on Wowhead and explored the jungle. Nothing. I do have the garrison unlocked so idk.

At this point I will just have to try my best to find a good Frost wolf looking outfit.
But still would be cool if we have the real thing. It’s so stylish and Hunter looking. Would match amazingly with a Frost wolf pet.
I think you need to do the field report quest before the table shows up, and with it he should show up as well.

The " problem " was that i didn’t have shipyard.Once i constructed it , i got quest for Tanaan.
