I need to ask, does it come naturally with the OOC to be over-pretensious and douchy towards other players, specifically roleplayers?
Because despite your attitude, you and your guild are not much above low-tier raiding. Heck my main is very close to your gear/ilevel, and account accomplishments overall, and I havent touched a raid over LFR in BfA.

People have invaded my guilds thread with so much salty spam over something that is 100% in accordance with Blizzard terms of service confirmed to me by GM many times.
I politely asked people to stop insulting others and to end the random irrelevant to this thread posting, yet they continued to insult and argue over god knows what.
Later on I simply thanked the people present in this thread for continuous bumping which resulted in us finding many customers.
And if you believe that guild thats gonna kill Azshara on highest difficulty next raid night is low tier raiding then yeah I will not burst your bubble.

However, this is the last bastion of RP and to clog it up with yet another PvE guild that, gods forbid, offers boosting services (lmao) wont really give you a lot of respect from the people who actually wish to RP and not have their experience and forums filled up with OOCers.
Imagine thinking that raiding still means anything, because -news flash- it doesn’t. I raided back in Legion, I raided back in Cataclysm, I raided back in MoP… it’s always the same bloody stuff and eventually I got tired of it, and with how the game is currently, raiding doesn’t mean a damn thing anymore considering how you can pug pretty much anything and with the addition of M+. Eternal Palace is a fun raid, but other than that, the other raids and bosses have been mediocre at best.
Curve means absolutely nothing these days, and I’d rather remain 7/8HC than to become one of the people that are 8/8HC because they got boosted by some PvE guild that’s on a RP server.
Your entire attitude about this. The forums are public, there is no “invading” and you can’t demand peopel to stop posting. I won’t go into the other thing about being an enteirly OOC guild/Non-rper on a specifically roleplaying server.
But you completly reek of a “Im better than all of you pesky rpers lol” attitude in most of what you post, which is douchy according to me, same with the whole low digit comment you made earlier towards other.
AD as a server has a strong community, and all you are doing is activly distancing yourself from it soley based on your behaviour. There are a few dedicated raid guilds on AD that do get along with the community as a whole. They do this by being humble about it, and also participating in roleplay time to time, following the server rules and respecting that this is primarily a roleplay server.
Showing a complete lack of respect for that usually leads to the guilds otherwise dissapearing over time.
Exactly forums are public yet people in this thread are actively trying to limit writing on it to RP exclusively with zero rights to do so.

Yes some of the comments in this thread are indeed so ignorant that is very much fair to assume people behind them are not the brightest.
They have full rights to do so honestly. You can’t claim what rights or not people have as the forum rules themselves are fairly simplistic, the rest is up to the community.
AD’s forums are unique to nearly all of WoW, even the other regions, due to being -more- than just “selling x boost”, because it is an active overarching community that discusses things together. I’ve been on many other realm forums over the years, and most of them are barren in comparison.
It’s a conclusion I don’t think I’m alone in reaching with posts like that. It’s fairly easy to get by on the AD forums, and that is if you are met with criticism, such as one about being soley OOC/not rping, adress it humbly. Do not do what the othertwo people, your only supporters did, which is to insult the community/rpers, which you also yourself did later with the IQ thing.
Judgement is to be accepted as you don’t understand, or seem to want to understand the server or it’s community. It’s by no means disgusting as every comment I saw here that was more harsh was in direct response to other OOCer’s insulting reactions to you being fairly lightly questioned.
Again, if you were willing to understand/become part of AD’s community, you’d understand fairly quickly that they “just ignore us” is not a thing that flies by here.
You’d be alot better of meeting the criticism, kindly, maybe by saying you might try out roleplaying yourself in the downtime between raiding. Atleast for a little bit.
I’m not going to comment on anything regarding the OP’s rudeness towards RPers, but… what’s wrong with advertising raid carries, exactly? It’s a service that many people could use if they care about the achiev, and one that is also suitable for posting on the AD forums if this is the realm your group is located on. While the presence of all the OOC guilds on AD is a whole other matter, this thread to me isn’t much different than people trying to sell rare transmogs on AD or anything else along those lines.
Personally, the issue isnt so much raidcarrying. I was not gonna comment at all at first, but frankly it went from 0 to 11 -entierly- due to the two other OOC posters immediatly going on offensive because they disslike certain players(quite clearly), and then OP joining in to that.
Yes, these sort arrogant replies show that the person is not the brightest.
Then rather than starting mocking the community, you should have tried harder or just close the thread. Just because it’s public doesn’t mean you should just start thread that don’t fit the forum theme, it’s like me going to a libary and start shouting or just doing other thing unfit to the place just cuz it’s public.

All I see in this thread is the hostility from the very first reply.
Best way of dealing with the hostility is to either not acknowledge it or respond with dignified replies instead of going on the offense right away.
I’m with the others here that you do have a “holier than thou” attitude towards those who do not raid and those who -argueably- have some issues with raid guilds on AD.
Anyway, you sell boosts and people buy them, there shouldn’t be a need to say more than that really.
I have no issues with other people, communities, guilds, groups, whatever.
I merely wrote a thread in the most respectable way possible with aims of advertising raid runs.
And it is a fact I was met with hostility for no reason at all.
Should I have avoided the IQ comment? Yes probably but nothing else I wrote here can point towards me having any issues with people on AD. Aswell that comment came way after a long line of replies to OP with malicious intent.
This is Argent Dawn forum, they are offering Boost on Argent Dawn hence why it is relevant to this section of the forum.
If they did post this at the ‘‘Role-Playing’’ section of the forum I would understand the fuss really.
The main problem here was that the first comment already derailed the thread which quickly turned into the usual flame war.
I understand that there are players who might dislike “Boost Service” threads, but they can just simply ignore them.
Hating & insulting “OOCers” is NOT EPIC!
