Neither is the overly large population of OOCers on the server. Alas, here we are.
Hmm⌠Yes probably? Thatâs not a very convicing answer.
Yet this the very behavior oocers have towards rpers, I have seen it time and again, but yeah, letâs only shame the rpers.
You might be right & it is indeed a problem. I just really dislike the behavior of some fellow forumgoer.
I frequently see things like: âOOC scourgeâ, âGet out of OUR sanctuary realm OOCer!â and similar not really nice comments.
I donât think this is the right way
Thatâs an opinion, you may notice other people have differing opinions.
Thereâs justified disdain for OOC populations on RP realms from people who have seen similar populations consume the already limited RP populations on other RP realms.
âjustified disdainâ There is no such thing as this. No one is interfering with your roleplaying, not this thread not the people who are not taking part in RP yet hostility is a problem, uncalled for hostility to be precise.
This is also consider hostility and thatâs why i said
Because the kind of oocer that get triggered by this and go on the offensive rather than just ignore is the k8nd of oocer i want the most out of this server.
And there is, my dosden is more than justified.
Why should I as the thread starter ignore all the trash spam thats been happening here simply for the hate reasons. Too delusional
I remember your first topic on General Section advertising your boosting services, for some reason I canât track it down, I wonder why.
Blizzard allows boosting, true, itâs a service offered by players for players and if thereâs no cash (real money) itâs legal; doesnât mean all the community agrees with it though.
Of course, you can post whatever you want but donât expect everyone to agree or not post in your topics if theyâre highly polemic, eventually your topic will be close if people flag it.
I also see that you request politeness but âmockâ people who disagree.
After seeing several topics, I think you could agree with me that the (majority) of the community on this forums donât need this kind of topics. Maybe you should consider that.
I guess limiting yourself to Trade Chat and LFG wasnât enoughâŚ
For me, players should achieve their goals by themselves.
In others words, let keep up this cicle adding wood to the burning pile Iâm currently on.
I think we should follow Taran Zhuâs words and walk away from this thread. These âforum warsâ are completely pointless & usually donât end well.
From a WoW wiki.
" Supporting Roleplay on RP Servers [] "
Roleplayers are sometimes disappointed at the amount of out-of-character chat, inappropriate character names, or anti-roleplaying behavior seen on the official RP servers. Forum threads lamenting the state of enforcement are frequently seen on the official forums."
Realms available to Warcraft roleplayers. RP servers are functionally the same as PvE servers, with added social rules and stricter naming enforcement.
Following up to that, the reason why so many RPers are disgruntled is not âjust becauseâ and neither because it functionally serves as a PvE server. Itâs because of people, sometimes willingly, picking a RP server to either grief/annoy/gank RPers and in general provide literally nothing to the community as a whole.
Think about it. Why would I buy a large 4x4 Jeep if I only use it for grocery shopping? I will never understand the mind of an OOCer that comes to a RP server to not RP. And this is coming from a former person that raided on a PvE server that transferred to a RP realm to willingly RP.
And considering all the other RP servers on the EU are functionally dead due to OOCers, of course there will be backlash here and met with negativity. RPers do not want to see boosting advertisements on a bloody RP server which is meant for -news flash- roleplaying. Wouldnât there be more players willing to be boosted on actual PvE servers rather than RP servers - so therefor boosting your business?
Number of actual functioning RP realms: one (1)
Number of PvE realms: literally dozens
100% Reasonable, but answer me this where do you see any of that in my thread?
Also, start acknowledging that huge part of this realm is active in PVE, third highest alliance raiding realm to be exact.
Boosting isnât really providing anything to the RP community.
But Iâve not seen you or anyone from your guild doing harm to RPers in-game, so that puts you one step above the rest. But I suppose you can understand the suspicion and negative attitude from a lot of people on the server.
I think you might be new here, because this is a factually FALSE statement. You specifically might not, but the reason the disdain exist, is entierly because of massive(not an overstatement whatsoever) issue with people interfering with our roleplaying over several years. All the hundreds of thousands of OOCers who daily troll and disrupt events. When youtubers like kakio and others go âtroll raidâ cities. Or when streamers like Sodapopin activlty intentionally overloaded the server to make it dc/crash, because âlol rpersâ.
There is a reason for people not liking OOCers, and it is very must justified.
Edit: This is why I suggested a more humble approach to the criticism. Because by taking that step, itâs a sign of good faith.
Great then, in this case we can stop with this.
I will answer with another question? What does your guild bring to the rping community?
Also calling folk 1 digit IQ may not annoy you but it does plenty of others.
What if people receive the pieces of their RP mog/a mount they want to use IC thanks to a boost?
My guild brings nothing it just as community brings nothing to us because we are not interested in that aspect of gameplay. If that concept is difficult to grasp I do not know.
What I said was out of order but was preceded by so many things that are WRONG including from you, so unless you want to keep being a bad troll just stop.
Being in a place that contribute I nothing to and it contributes nothing to me, yes itâs hard to understand why one chooses that particular place.
