Iâd also point out something, that is worth knowing, and this is not as a jab at you but as a suggestion to help both you and your guild.
And that is your character name. Now, one of the few actual rules we still have on AD specifically for roleplaying(As in a rule enforced by Blizzard), is that the names need to be roleplay appropriate. And Iâd argue that Astrograph isnât(Though Blizzard might think it is, I canât say for sure).
This means that, people might very well report your name, and you most likley will be subject to a name change, or if not the first time, a temporary suspension. You can prevent this yourself by name-changing now to a server appropriate name, or self-report it to get help from GMâs.
Now, there are people who disagree about the importance of this rule, but I believe it is one to maintain, since it helps with the atmosphere, itâs not difficult to follow, it does great length to show some good faith, and specifically, it is still a rule.
If you wish to read/confirm it yourself, I can link it here:
" World of Warcraft Role Play (RP) servers are intended to provide players with an added level of immersion in the game world. Names on RP servers must adhere to Blizzardâs Code of Conduct, and also must avoid being disruptive to the world.
Examples of common unacceptable or disruptive RP names include (but are not limited to):
- Non-medieval or non-fantasy names (For example: Slipnslide, Robotman, Discoinferno)
- Names that reference well known people, characters, brands, places, or icons (For example: Britneyspears, Austinpowers, Mcdonalds, Georgewashington, Newyork)
- Names that consist of multiple words (For example: Inyourface, Welovebeef, Howareyou, Sixtyseventy)
Blizzard reserves the right to assign a random name to any character violating our RP naming policy. For more severe or repeat violations, we may apply additional penalties to the account."
