FRUSTRATED! Mythic plus

The only freaking way to play this game is by creating my own key. NOBODY is inving dhs unless overgeared!!! I keep getting declined for every key I sign up for. A freaking +8 I get declined while having completed the same dungeon on a +10!! BUFF DEMON HUNTERS

is creating your own keys so bad though?

Daddy chill, I saw you already today in post about this exact topic. Join a community or a guild and just play what you want to play. It will save you the frustration of the Pug system.

or rather, spec vengeance and get free invites.

Plenty of solutions. One is to make friends / add people in keys you do.

More than a million runs get done a week - why can they manage what you fail at? Is it because they actually do stuff and you just keep crying on a classic alt ignoring solutions posted?

Probably the most frustrating season

In order to make friends, I must first be able to enter the keys. Furthermore, the Demon Hunter class is not particularly popular at the moment. Other classes offer greater value in terms of utility and damage. The stronger the class, the higher the likelihood of receiving invitations and the better the chances of finding a premade team for the long term.

Additionally, it is quite unfair that for Demon Hunters, it is significantly more challenging to join groups compared to the majority of classes. Currently, the situation is quite dire, in case you were not aware or are not up to date as a serious M+ participant.

Can you stop making the same thread over and over.

If i saw you in any key i would make them kick you

600k less then in similiar week in S1 of df season of DF - that’s 3 mln less people completimg keys

And yes there is quite a lot of deseperate people suffering still in m+ . That’s why you see this Ropica non stop - they dont have fun but want rewards. So they suffer.

Its horrible for game in long run .

Good and you don’t know my ingame name and I know yours. Now I suggest you refrain from responding to my threads if your contributions are not meaningful

At every season there is a meta. Currently there are 7 dps specs with more than 5% representation above +15 that kind of constitute the meta. Those being ret pala, assa rogue, frost dk, enh shaman, frost mage, balance druid, aug evoker.

So how exactly is it unfair for dhs to not be in that top, more than let’s say shadow priests or any warrior or hunter spec? There are 19 specs that are not “meta” and each one of those face the same problems. Even if your spec is pretty good, it is a competition between the other 26 specs that all but the top 3-7 kind of lose.

Only thing you can do, is as you said to:

  1. Make your own groups.
  2. Get a group to play together.
  3. Raise your rio way above the rest.
  4. Overgear the content.
  5. Switch from dps to tank/healer.

To be fair, the last one is the easiest. Entering dungeons as tank or healer is 10 times easier than dps.

You’re just crying on the forums. Nothing will change.

The mods will see if you keep spamming.

(i’m gonna make sure i get all havoc DH kicked from my keys just in case)

I mean this like “You are homeless? Just buy a house, duh!”

If I think about my experience this season, done several hundreds of dungeons with pugs. I had only one guy who I added and it was pure luck. And we still didn’t play much, maybe like 5-7 dungeons.

Some classes or specs simply have much harder time getting invited. Some might wanna blame Blizzard for that but the reality is that people sweat too much. Just today I was doing my own key +8 on a bdk and a 633 ilvl ret queued with his low geared friend to help him. Then he saw my my ilvl (604) and left. Obviously this overgeared guy has no idea how this ilvl is more than enough to farm +8s, especially when I had a friend of mine with me who is 632 ilvl, adding this pala and it’s a super easy free run. I don’t even need a healer as a bdk lmao

Tbf hunter (especially SV) is very reliable dps, very durable, has great utility, bl and is easy to play. That’s always a good pick in pugs.
Shadow has stamina buff and PI, that’s two good reasons for pugs.
Warrior might be the best comparison here but it at least provides ap buff for the group.

Ngl that’s the best advice for someone who can’t get invites^^
Let’s get 3k rio so we can play 10s :joy:

Making friends is a good solution, go join a community or a guild, plenty of options. Makes the game a lot more fun and enjoyable as well. The comparison of buying a house falls flat though. It might take a lil more effort to make friends, but there are options to do so.

Well thats the thing, aint it? The moment it requires a little liiiiiiiitle bit of an effort from players. They scream like you are demanding them to marry the said person and they have their can of 101 excuses ready why they can’t do it. :person_shrugging:

But things do change if you stir the pot enough.
When DH was slightly good and some people moaned and cried it was nerfed.

Now its the other way around.

SO BUFF DEMON HUNTER PLEASE.

Its not the same. Making friends costs no money, unlike a house.

You know … maybe that means something.

I usually dont add people either. I tell people to add me if they want to play some other day with me.

Got ~ 350 long friends list, with ~ 100/120 of them connected at any one time.

And if nobody adds you, maybe there is a reason for that.

You might disagree with it. But if you got a bunch of 3k rio people quewing for 10s then of course anyone below 3k wont get an invite.

3k is a bit unrealistic. Its more like: You got people that have done the dungeons in 11+ quewing for 10s and 8s.

That is the situation TODAY. Like it or not. So it is not an unreasonable suggestion to adapt to the situation: Get more Rio.

So back to the OPs post: Its not about the meta, or about DHs not being meta or whatever. Its about having a bunch of people that SHOULD be doing 12s and 13s, doing 10s for the weekly vault instead.

And this happens because of the difficulty walls in high keys. In DF when they were not there, it was actually easier to do a +22 (a +12 of today) than a +18 (a +8 today, and the level required for myth track gear). Simply because in a +18 you got alts, new players, or general bad people quewing for it. In a +22 only key pushers quewed, and the quality of players went up by a significant amount and the key ran more smoothly. So key pushers were in the range they were supposed to be (keys 11+ or higher) while everyone else was in the range they were supposed to be.

But that is not the only factor. There is a second factor: This season is much harder in general both high and low keys, which means that people prefer to wait 40 minutes for that OP meta spec with 3k rio than to take our DH friend with modest Rio.

People basically think that the only way to complete dungeons is to wait for the OP people and get a boost. Because if you dont, 1 mistake, 1 death, and the key is bricked. So they take no chances.

So the issue is the overall difficulty of the season. It has nothing to do with meta specs at all.
