I haven’t encountered any sync premades for a while but: what I used to do in raid chat was to explain that they bypass game mechanics and synchronize queueing to get an unfair advantage. According to Blizz Code of Conduct:“…engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.”
I use addon BattlegroundEnemies for targeting. I report the most notorious syncers for Gameplay Sabotage, Blocking Team Progress.
I use the message (I don’t mention this in raid chat):
This player is in a sync premade, and according to CoC “……engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.”
Then I mention all the notorious syncers in raid chat, as I report them.
The general idea is not to get them banned but to bring Blizzard’s attention to the problem. I think if enough report, Blizz should notice the reports even though they use an automated system. This problem will not be solved by reports. It will only be solved if Blizz breaks the syncing.
It’s completely safe to report many. The only possible danger is that if the sync premades know you do it, they will report you. I stay stealthed while I do everything so they cannot target me. If they reveal me, I leave the bg.
My goal is to disincentivice this grind.
One way or another.
I know reaching 500 honor level takes time.
I know Bloodthirsty title aint easy either.
Khan and Battlemaster titles sometimes require team effort.
All of the above I reached entirely by myself and I can tell you these achievements feel great even a 2 years after i took them.
Just because i made them special for myself because I took my time, tempered my patience and did it slowly over time.
Things you just get via instant gratification - the gratification does not last anyway.
Also the price you pay for cheating results in a dying community and people outright unsubbing for the only safe-space so to say for the casual player are battlegrounds and if this activity is also kept away from them then theres nothing holding them in the game anymore.
If you are a premader:
I want you to know that you’re being unreasonable, and your mob mentality and your short-cut instant gratification desire ruins the fun of everybody.
The point of every game is meeting at a common ground.
If i come with my motorbike in a horse race- it wont be interresting for anybody.
Quit this.
its not an unreasonable report.
so this does not apply.
if someone breaks the rules and abuses you and you advice them to report the person is that against the TOS , buddy ?
also isnt it crazy how exactly you , a clearly boosted in RBGs person calls out for moderation.
You’'re a 3x challenger and 3x duelist player with exactly 2.400 max rating in a bracket you never played before aside from that one and only season in RBGs.
How did u manage to oneshot High Warlord title in one go with no previous experience, and even if we look to the future or the past you never cathered around the rating as well.
So you just activated a trap cart and ill be launching a full investugation onto you as well.
Pathetic and weak are the people that haven’t found any meaning in life other than doing continuous (hours long) premades / semi premades against pugs rather than facing equally experienced & organized groups in rated BGs.
I am skeptical about this mass report idea ( not only its usefulness is dubious, it’s also very easily abusable).
but I understand that it comes from casual pvp people who log in after work to play a few random fun Bgs and instead faced with these premades, which bring no fun whatsoever, nor the room for improvement as a pvp player.
Calling these people “weak” and “pathetic” is rude and arrogant.
Anyone who defends the current status quo of wow pvp deserves the long queues which are now ubiquitous across almost all pvp activities.
Yes, the report system is awful. It creates a game version of a police state, and it is abused. The sync premades abuse it. They mass report for language.
I feel like a member of Stasi when I report but there simply is no other way to handle the situation. The idea is to get Blizz’ attention, so they break the sync.
Again, I suggest reporting for Gameplay Sabotage, Blocking Team Progress. I think this is the closest alternative if reporting for queue syncing referring to the CoC: “…engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.”
I wouldn’t be mad if they literally made it so any group can be either team. Similar to how Blitz works. So when premaders try to sync up all of their groups to get into the same BG, half of them would be facing each other.
I tried al least 15 ebg since yesterday, try gearing my alts, Horde side each time, and only one win for now. The horde premades didn’t show up and idk the allys names to tell you if there was some premade on their side but mostly each time Horde had like 2 or 3 heals when the ally are full of and almost all of them used some gravitational displacer on 1st fight and wiped the horde like pve.
I personaly like to use it too, but now it’s getting too much when you got a chain of these like 5 in a raw
Totally agree with this. We should get Blizzard’s attention by letting them know that we are not happy about current state.
I believe that Blizzard should change their approach to this games battleground PvP content. They should remove Alliance vs Horde just like Blitz mainly to shorten the queue times and mix all locale (RU-DE-EU etc) (most crucial part), lower premade size from 5 to 3 on 10-15 BGs and always put premades into opposite teams to prevent injustice. In this way, there will always be an even number (2-4-6 etc) of premades in the games, so there won’t be a premade vs pug problem. I know this won’t fix all problems but most of it will be gone forever.
And after Microsoft, I really would like to see a sub subscription or something like that to play PvP only content. I’m pretty sure it will attract more players if they add more features like 3 teams games (like ESO), solo/small team deathmatch ,dota/SMITE kinda maps etc…
Point is, a lot of us, me including have stopped queueing for BGs, and by proxy, stopped playing. All because of premades.
Log in ready to game.
Queue BG.
Wait 10 minutes.
Enter BG.
Oh look, an infamous premader.
Try to win.
Team gets AoE blitz like low level mobs.
TP to GY.
Get camped.
Alt f4.
Just no point. It’s not even funny anymore. For every 5 BGs I enter, 4 of them are premades. It’s like the flipping Mafia.
Just to add some icing on the cake, said preamde players then argue here that it’s totally okay and it’s our fault not beloging to a guild/community. 10/10.
Yep I was afraid that this was going to happen and it will become frustrating for the casual PvP community. The gear gap disparity widens if you spend 4hrs online and get nowhere.
It surprises me too that despite some claim here on the PvP forum that Blizzard said they are aware and monitoring, nothing to date has been done.
You not the first and most certainly won’t be the last. I guess only when they lose ± 1 million subs will they suddenly say “we are listening to the community and we have decided to action…”.
I know a mate of mine who I tried to convince to come play now absolutely refuses to play wow or wow pvp because of this. So not only will they lose current fed up players they will also lose the potential of new players.
