Funniest healer to play?

So im thinking of leveling a healer but im not sure what healer is fun and good since its my first time healing and the classes im thinking bout leveling is Priest, shaman, paladin which one should i pick?

Out of these 3 Id go with shaman … otherwise my most fav would be druid or monkoloid

i prefer pala

I would prefer the priest, since you get two different healing specs and can try both playstyles to see which one you prefer.

Mage is pretty funny to play as healer. Rogue too…hilarious sometimes

Blood DK is a proven healer.
Second best in terms of engagement is glimmer of light holy pala.
Third serious responsible and adult choice is rdruid.

Funniest healer is deffo a druid. I mean they literally run around, with twigs on their shoulders. And sticks on their armour. When fighting literal gods, and god like beings.

I acctually really enjoy Resto shaman. Sure It’s not the best Mythic+ healer(can still easially do +15’s). The MacGyver of every raid… I even enjoy the times I just stand there Pew Pew:ing as a healer back up… 3x Igneous potential and watch those 100k Lava bursts just go boom.

However Resto shaman also comes with two of the more interesting DPS specs. in BfA.

Shaman :sunglasses: druid is fun aswell.

The funniest healer is the one with the best jokes…

The healer which is most fun depends on what you enjoy. They all play very differently.

I’d suggest reading some online guides such as icyveins or wowhead. What is it about your shortlisted classes you think you like?

Monks a very solid healer. They’ll be more fist weaving in 8.2, which should put them as top healer. Or very very close to dru dru on heals and dps.

‘Funniest’ of those has to be pandaren shaman. Keg totems, and your starter zone is literally about reuniting the elemental spirits with the people. Grab the relevant pets from the AH and you’ve got a lot to lean on. As a functional healer, shaman will chuck out solid AoE and is pretty favoured for raids right now, although they’re arguably a little behind in M+ because they’re optimised for bigger groups.

Glimmerdin meanwhile will leave you with choices about healing or dpsing during the same fight, and probably has the biggest variety of role. Good without being OP.

Priest… disc is pretty meta, but it’s not the be all and end all. My experience while levelling is that pugs don’t understand how disc works, and because fights are often short and sharp, you don’t get to wind up your dps in order to splash heals around. Holy is… the original healer I guess. Stand back from the group, throw heals. It’s a little slower paced, and relatively relaxing, and pugs give you an easy time because they know exactly what to expect from you.

Personally though, I like monk healing. Not everyone clicks with it, and it’s important to have an addon that tracks HoTs, but it’s got a big whack of healing output when times get rough. Biggest downside is you tend to drink more than other healers in M+, and will probably chug a mana potion on every raid boss beyond LFR.

Ret pala and feral druid - they just keep healing and healing.

I would say priest is most fun.

For these 4 globals, WoA - WoG - CS - WoG best healer, yes…

shammy, personally. Macro /that’s not a puddle of rain water to your aoe heal.

you could also macro /ugh get better gear … to your shield spell as a disco priest but youll be spamming it a lot and gets a bit annoying after a bit.

Ehh i would actually call current glimmerdins op(raid). They are top healing spec atm overall and on pretty much every boss and that doesnt even include the damage reduction they can do with aura mastery.
When you have a healer with highest throughput, highest dps and best dr cooldown(which not even counted in healing logs) then you know something went south with the design.
Im all in for pallies having a different playstyle but i think it is just too much atm. And they also dont spend any mana.

My favorite healers are resto druid and mw monk.
Look at some guides or videos which ones look fun to you though. All classes are viable options.

MObility is fun.

Monk has Mistweaver,ok fun. Bremaster really fun. Windwalker the most fun spec ingame.

Druud Resto IS fun, balance is kinda fun?, kittie dont know did not even bother to try it for obvious reasons, guardian might be fun.

Id go monk

Not owning a glimmerdin (although I am thinking about it), I can’t really say just how strong they are

But I would like to know why fistweaving was taken away from monks, and now that dps-and-heal playstyle has been given to glimmerdins and disc priests? :frowning:

(I still do a little melee in most dungeons because I find it’s more effective at mana management than mana tea. Really helps on light trash and stops me having to hold up the group to drink between packs, and many bosses have a few seconds here or there where I can punch punch kick and get a couple of % back.)

Yeah i love how blizz is thinking.
Original monk had the dps to heal thing first.
Then they take it away and give it to disc. Then paladin.
Hello?

Im healing with 2 holy paladins. But really glimmerdin is basically just pop wings and spam holy shock and crusaders strike, do retarded amounts of healing for almost 0 mana. Its super mana efficient since crusaders strike is free and it resets holy shock’s cooldown.
They only spend mana for some infusion of light procs and light of dawn.
I find it hilarious that blizzard didnt nerf it down to reasonable levels yet.
Like 10% extra healing/trait? Im glad if mines do 3%…
Or then im waiting on that gameplay changing fun traits for other specs aswell lol.
