If being able to see with perfect vision on your “blind” demon hunter ruins your immersion then this is the addon for you. This addon blacks out everything except the ui so you can experience fumbling around in the darkness like the demon hunters of yore until you activate spectral sight which lets you see for a few precious seconds. Now you can add vision to the list of things you’ve sacrificed.

Reminds me of the old addon called Comix

It added Batman-style “POW”, “WHAM” , “POOF” and other random text and icons, in addition to sounds. Completely useless but very fun.

By googling, it appears to have been updated for 8.3, but I haven’t used it myself since the original TBC-days.

An addon called Comix. It added some 70’s comic style visual and sound effects like: BAM!, POW, SWISH, BIFF and such. This worked the best with a melee character.

Oh yeah and custom reactions. When I interrupt a spell, my char says “Noice!” and when I heal myself he says “Aight!”
And always pugs laugh about it during M+ runs

These options can be turned on or off individually:

• Customizable /me emote.
• Choice of standard emote, laugh, etc.
• Choice of audio alert.
• Broadcast to channels.

I kinda liked the old gods whispers addon, think it is updated for retail but I’ve been using it during the AQ event in classic. Seemed perfect at that time, farming hives and getting occasional “Your courage will fail” sound ques.
