Hi fellow warriors. Looking for a little advice for my toon in the next expansion for anyone who’s tried Arms in the Beta.
I’ve been playing Fury for a long time now (when not Tanking) and I see that Arms is looking strong for the next patch, but I hear that without a lot of Haste its just a tad painful.
If I was to rock up in Shadow Lands with my current gear as Arms with my Fury gear, will it really feel that bad?
I don’t have a lot of time to farm Haste gear which is pretty hard to find outside of high Keys or non-LFG raids, so I’m hoping that either my gear will serve me well or the very least I’ll get some upgrades early on to help me out.
Don’t get my wrong, I LOVE the fury play style and while the default answer that I see all the time on here is “Play what you enjoy”…but I just fancy a change but I don’t want to feel like I’m being held back by my gear if I could progress far better if I just stuck with Fury.
Just put loot spec fury.
Fury gear has more haste on it.
So there’s a ton of misinfortmation being spread around on this forum, but this has got to be the dumbest thing I’ve read on here all year. Absolutely not true. Where did you read this?
Go check stats on Wowmeta when you get a chance for the first raid tier of Shadowlands… I sadly can’t post the link but I think you’ll be surprised…
I keep reading warrior is going to be strong, but the numbers within a raid dictate otherwise. M+ seems like we’ll be okay but the meta within the coming PvP season should also be a concern.
I will say this much - Warrior is going to more fun than it has been to play, but strong or good? In reality we’ll be in the bottom half all specs in DPS. We have the start of the expansion working against us too. We are THE gear reliant spec, typically Warriors are lackluster at the start and only get better as time goes on.
I really hope I’m wrong about this, but I watch so much optimism about where we’ll be in the new Xpac, only to have people leave their Warriors and not come back because they didn’t kick booty out the gate.
