Dear fellow warriors,
your thoughts pls :
pretty much all guides prioritize haste over mastery.
But Raidbot quicksim gives me :
Strength 2.76
Mastery 1.24
Haste 1.16
Critical Strike 1.12
Versatility 0.83
Thank you.

How much haste do you have? Because around 25% the stat weights aim towards mastery for me as well.
Thank you for the reply.
It’s pretty low value, its pvp-gear and not really high i-lvl.
Based on 12% haste in the sim, if I equip with more haste gear its around 16%.
Take whatever sims best. I don’t think many people actually play SMF.
start understanding your sims / simcraft .
Thank you for the advice,
but tbh, I was hoping for some real feedback or input.
yeah i mean this real. learn what i means!!!
your statweights that ur showing are only telling that your best stat until you change something (item, enchant, socket…) will be strengh and mastery >haste>crit>vers
these stats are for your current char / gear / talent for this specific sim!!!
a guide will be always in general / for most sitations etc. (throu several item levels)
–> simming statweights is a thing from the past like back in wotlk etc.
…
because when you change 1 item you need to simm it again… or change 1 enchant … and it changes again. you can do that endless btw. !
this is a loop what ur currently doing / trying to do. sim your top gear. and done.
Every top-tier m+ fury warrior prioritises mastery over haste, and none of them play necrolord. Haste is critical, so don’t skimp on it, but if you want that big boi damage, focus on mastery
also don’t listen to this guy, he’s a real pricker i’d say 27-30% haste, but 25% is easy to achieve, so… goals i guess
Good thing I’m not a guy then
currently at 23% haste and at this point I even have vers simming over haste
Person/creature of unspecified gender*
simming helps, but at the end of the day, the leaderboards speak for themselves. if verse was king, we’d see all the top fury warriors running vers, but we don’t. they run Mast > Haste > Crit. For me, 23% is low. 25% i think is as low as i’d want it to go.
But that’s just me, not saying you’re wrong for your build, i’m just saying what i see and how i play. Diversity, y’know?
Simming tells me to switch to mastery, stat weights show haste is top. I have haste gems because I play Arms too and it’s the best compromise, but stat weights are only helpful to give you a sort of general idea of the relative differences, the thing is they shift constantly and are also different on AOE vs 2 target cleave vs single target.
That’s why it’s better to just do multiple sims and gain some sort of understanding. The reason people run mastery in M+ is simply because haste is most valuable over longer periods, but in M+ a fair bit of time is actually spent moving between targets which also ticks your cooldowns down and that kinda devalues haste compared to a continuous combat.
The other reason is simple, in M+ it’s about big pulls and burst dps and Mastery increases your burst more, Haste does more for your sustained (still helps with fitting bladestorm in enrage etc) and is more about increasing general enrage uptime and anger management synergy. On big burst you’re never worried about keeping enrage up, because you have fresh meat + recklessness rage generation.
All that said, difference is small in the grand scheme. If some top player switched all his mastery gems for haste it won’t really make that much difference at all, it balances off.
