Fury Warrior PvP, why does it not have arms defensives?

At this point I dont even ask why Arms has so many good pvp talents like War Banner or Sharpen Blade in comparisson to Fury, but why does it also have so much better defensives?
Fury is one of the only 2 dps specs (other one beeing Demonology Warlock) who does not share defensives with its other dps counterpart.

Ignore pain, beeing the only thing they share, costs 2x the rage to use for Fury.

Warpaint is a joke compared to Defensive Stance. Arms has on demand 20% dmg reduction where he can sit on.
Fury has 10% that is only up when hes dealing dmg?

While Enraged Regeneration has the edge on beeing usable while stuned, the healing is completly countered by about anything in the game right now. Kite, disarm, hard CC, grievous wounds, damage, anything that makes you imune to physical dmg counters this defensive.
Die by the Sword, having uses both ofensive and defensivly, is just on another level.

Every class below has more than one dps spec, and all share their vital defensives:

  • Rogue - Vanish/Cloak/Evasion/Feint
  • Hunter - Turtle/Exhilaration
  • Mage - Ice Block/Alter Time/Mirror Image
  • Druid - Barkskin/Bear Form
  • DK - Icebound/AMS/AMZ
  • Shaman - Astral Shift
  • Warlock - Unending Resolve

Fury, even with the garbage pvp talents we have, small choice of legendary and lack of big hits, can compete with Arms on the damage department, and with Necrobanner + Reckless Abandon we can have glue uptime on targets.
But we desperatly need those defensives… since its rework on Legion, Fury has only had 1 or 2 good seasons, mostly because either Arms was lacking at the time or there was 1 comp that made Fury shine (WW/FURY).
As it stands, we are going for the 3rd season this expansion as the worst dps spec in the game…again.

Ignore Pain can remain unchanged.
Replace Warpaint with Defensive Stance.
Replace Enraged Regeneration with Die by the Sword.
Revert Bloodthirst heal back to 5%.

Other sugestions:

  • Rework Reckless Defense Legendary:
    Reckless Fury
Your Dragon Roar no longer benefit from your critical strike chance, but it always critical strikes during Recklessness.
    – Makes Dragon Roar more appealing to take and becomes an alternative to Tormented Kings.
  • If we cant have Defensive Stance but still we can get Die by the Sword, rework Battle Trance:
    Passive
Every 20 rage you spend reduces the remaining cooldown on Die by the Sword by 0.5 sec.
    – Basicly Outlaw’s Float Like a Butterfly for Fury.

Defensives still wouldn’t change much as Fury also lacks utility.

fury has a lot of self-heals that arms doesn’t have

Self heals have no value in 2s if you start with 20% dampening. This is the reason Enha sucks in 2s with the healer.

The only utility Arms has that Fury doesnt is War Banner. Duel is barely even used. Disarm, Interveen, Slow, Bolt, Fear, all tools Fury has. Sure we have a weaker Sharpen Blade but we still have grievous wounds.
Fury survivalty is its biggest problem. Are other problems with the spec? Sure, but the point is not to make it rank 1 material, but instead to make it something more viable for the people that like the spec to play.
Fury needs at the very least D Stance so it can sit between its cooldowns, else it just get run over. That and the 5% healing on BT.

I wouldn’t call it “only” and yes duel is used versus many 3s comps.

Balance aside, the theme for fury warrior is that it’s reckless and throws all caution to the wind, charging into the heat of battle. It makes little sense for it to be strong defensively; It should looks for buffs elsewhere.
