Future Hunter Runes

Hi guys,

i would like to offer a little discussion about Future Hunter Runes and how to manage some Problems with the Hunter in General. Imo one of the biggest Problems why MM is currently “bad” is the Mana-management so i would like share my thoughts on that;

im Running out of mana rather quickly by a full Rotation … blizzard need Rune for better mana Management. Somthing like;

-Arcane shot Restores Mana instead of spending it, this would put AS in a actually usefull position where u gotta decide use Arc shot or Aimed shot for more dmg or more mana

or Another rune like

  • While Serpent sting is applied your autoshot ( or shots in general ) have a chance to restore 5% of your mana or Basemana what ever…

Are you level 25 with some mediocore gear? I play MM and mana is definitely not an issue ,nor the damage dealt

perhaps you are… not everyone have 30 sec kill time… and trying to look into the FUTURE as the TOPIC suggests …

you have no mana issues where? in the 1 min raid fights? I suppose MM is as mana as effiecient as bm since you dont have to refresh sting. But i still think that the mana cost of hunters skills is way too high. In pvp you are probably the first class to run dry.

I dont care about pve at all so i can only Talk about PvP. Pls Blizzard give Hunter Disengage/Masters call/ or wrath deterrence. With the amount of Gap closers range stuns now i dont want to Play Hunter in the Future. Will be a disgusting time making distance again, We need some Form of deff CD. Also the amount of dots will make our life even worse! We Had a Bad time vs dots on era. But now im realy scared in the future

If you Play the Whole Rotation with CS, AS, MS you’ll run dry quite fast… on 30 sec - 1 min fights you’ll wont notice it, but later on more engaging fights… for example… in a Progress guild when enter fresh BWL ( tuned as it is now in BFD ) you have no chance properly manage/sustrain your mana without to cut your dps.

With my Hunter i use the Manaoil on my meele weapon and got the mana regen buff from paladin…i never run oom.
But thats only an alliance benefit.

so you still lose on dps with mana-oil, since you dont profit of Windfury… ( if Meleeweave )

I hate the Hunters Workaround for Mana Management… it feels just clunky and wrong.

But just FYI for you guys, i dont suggest an unending Manapool … just a simple backup.

i Know there a Sweaty Guilds with 30 second killtime on a Boss… But Casual PUG’s you can struggle with Sustaining your Manapool.

I dont get windfury on my ranged weapon so its useless for me ^^ i dont meele, therefore is my pet to do my meele dmg.

We dont know future runes. So theres nothing to discuss.

ye, must be hard to understand it for you…

But the damage dealt could easily be increased with 20% considering how much damage other classes are doing with equal gear.

If we don’t get some really heavy changes to traps and a disengage that fires you backwards. Hunters are toasts next Phase in PvP.

For example, being able to put down a trap in combat would be a massive +

I absolutely agree ,many classes like rogues got solid CC escape abilities which would affect us,hunters bad

We already have a mana management ability called Aspect Of The Viper, don’t need a different rune to do what it does, just need it ported to SoD.

However I’m not interested in future runes at all if they can’t even sort out and balance the current runes properly.

Cause what’s the point? They’re just gonna listen to some PVP’er cry about it on the forums and we’ll get nerfed, again.

Without something like disengage your basically pwnd now warriors have warbringer and rogues/druid can start on you out of stealth. Mages just blink inside deathzone, warlocks just drain you while standing next to you etc etc… mm isnt viable when people come close its done…

Alright, my suggestion is:
Rune of Endless Tears: Every time your pet fails to solo kill another player in PVP, a thread complaining about the lacklustre performace of hunters is automatically posted on the WoW forums.

Very Mature mate…im not complaining about dmg… while Rogs perform quite well on PVE and PVP… i guess you got just blown off by a Hunter and now whining around.
