Fying issue

I have issue regarding flying, haven’t played some time now and when I logged in and started flying I noticed that my wasd keys while flying dynamic flight mode were useless, pretty sure i could use them before the last patch to steer left and right. When I switch to old flying wasd works but not In dynamic flight mode, any way to enable it ? I tried disabeling all my addons and it’s still not working, can’t find anything useful on google either. Plz help

Strafing has never worked while airborne with dynamic flying so that probably confused you due to the recent change to the default movement keys (before: turn left or right using A and D, now strafe left and right).

What actions your W and S are bound? By default (move forward and backwards) they have not done anything ever when using dynamic flying.

Grelier is talking about this.

Obviously it wasn’t that well-received of a change and I purposefully chose to exclude the full link due to its name and comments within (not that I disagree with any of them).

AccountNeedsTurnStrafeDialog 1 which is an account-level CVAR command is now by default imposed to all new or existing characters on the first login after the recent patch. It is the opinion of not just me that this is intrusive, annoying and completely unnecessary. After you make your choice it should add another character specific CVAR setting to that character’s unique config file to prevent future popups.

If you didn’t see the window, you may have closed it down in rush prematurely before agreeing with the selection option. This could have happened because of addon, after alttabbing or simply for pressing escape.

Go back to game options and review your movement keybindings.

The real issue players have with this is how the keybinds are forcefully changed without consent, prior to any hardware input, before a real selection is even made, just because the option on the right side gets highlighted as active by default (in case you were previously using what they now call a Legacy preset).

Thank you for the reply
