Fyrakk Has Valid Points

This whole expansion about dragons yet there is only one dragon boss for the final raid. This made me think about how Fryakk is right about he got betrayed.

Imagine you are plotting something big with your two other besties and one of them changes side halfway through and the other smoke bombs away to titans know where. And even worse is not a single dragon decide to protect you so you have to pay lesser races like elves to do it for you but they fail miserably too. So not only big dragons betrayed him, also small dragons too. Not even a drake is trying to defend him.

And about Raszageth, she gave her life to awaken this traitors but in the end, only one followed her path. So she died for nothing.

I know as champions we are strong but if dragons can’t keep their wings together and it’s easier to unalive them once divided. Thousands of years for them to observe things yet they are not wise enough to see it.

Shame on all things with wings and scales to not even trying to defend their own kind.

in theory many of the enemies we fought had their reason. Malygos, Kael Thas, Garrosh, Nipple man, Elisande, Rastakhan, illidan, ARTHAS b4 corruption, sylvanas.

Im beginning to think we are the bad guys.

Guild wars 2 really had a interesting take on that a few years back.

in the end we’re all a bunch of murder hobos

who cares? he was killed like an idiot by the power of friendship and family

yes. i agree all it was lame. but we are discussing another thing here.

Maybe he got betrayed (Or abandoned, whatever, evil was never known for its loyal allies), but his “brilliant scheme” was to burn the whole world because… that’s the only thing that fire-related baddies ever think about, really.

Not a great idea for everybody else though, so no wonder only a bunch of suddenly-deluded mortals would side with him. (Seriously, what’s with the sudden uptick in “Yeah, burning everything will fix all that’s wrong with the world”-clowns?)

Let’s be honest here, Fyrakk was a moron, the only bigger morons than him were the ones who followed him, Igira and her musclehead cronies (Thank heavens those schmucks are all dead now), Smolderon (Well, firelords never were very… bright. :stuck_out_tongue: ), the tattered remnants of the druids of the flame, nothing of value or even remote interest was lost.

As for Raszageth, she was a useful idiot, the Gul’dan or Garrosh of recent lore, she kicks off future events and then snuffs it, and out of the primal drakes, Iridikron is the only one with anything resembling a long-term plan anyway, so again, little was lost, i’m curious to see what happens next with Iridikron, i hope at least one of the primal drakes has something interesting to do, for all the fanfare, the others were quite disappointing.

the problem with DF is all the story is incredible weak. Dunno maybe im getting old and grumpy but sincerely… i just consider this plt… horrible and bad. Even in SL (that i consider the worst XP ever ever done) i had some moment of interest (Uther, covenant stories) but here… despite there are some old char like ysera or murozond (it was the only story - with tyr knights - i had interest. Despite the horrible dungeon), the result was bleah…
Back on topic. Raszageth was just a puppet, but i had respect of her while put my holy blade in her heart.

He had gone completely crazy. If we hadn’t stopped him early he’d probably have gone Deathwing 2.0 eventually. He may or may not have been betrayed, but his course was not right.

they incarnates were all against the aspects, but each of them had a different goal

  1. iridikron wanted power and hated the titans. destroying the titans was all that mattered to him
  2. fyrakk was a warmonger and had a personal grudge with the aspects
  3. vyranoth wanted the best for dragonkind more than anything else. for this reason she was willing to switch side once iridikron and fyrakk abandoned their cause and started pursuing their personal goals
  4. raszageth was in the middle, probably the only one that truly fought for the incarnates
  5. blizzard is bad at writing so don’t put too much thought into it!

What i’m noticing is that i don’t care about the lead characters any more, and when you lose that, the whole story falls flat.

They’re all the same, the baddies are all roaring blowhards, ranting on and on about how they’re going to kill us and claim supremacy for their lot (Like the No-good centaurs and Djaradin), and the good guys are all the same as well, it has the depth and originality of a low-tier Saturday-morning cartoon, even the attempts at depth (The vast array of emotional issues besetting pretty much everybody) kind of fizzle out, because of the lack of connection with the characters, i don’t really care, i don’t know if it’s just me though.

The only characters i care about are the side characters, because they act and speak differently (Free from the constraints of having to be either do-gooders or cartoon villains), they’re more distinctive and as a result more memorable, i remember Theotar nattering on about “Time for tea!” and Zenata of the Azerothian archives telling me that “Ve should start scryink!” more than anything the lead characters harped on about at (interminable) length…

this story reminds me a bit of the jailer shadowlands plot ^^. in the end it was just meh.

Fyrakk was actually great.

He wanted to open up a can on everyone and there’s nothing wrong with that. The world needs bad guys that just want to watch the world burn, and so does the world of Warcraft.

This isn’t YouTube, you can say “kill” without worrying about the off chance of getting demonetized.

who’s the nipple man

the jailer.

So did Illidan, Arthas, Garrosh and the Jailor. Each had some valid points although they all went too far in their zeal.

Umm, Raszageth was an all out dragon and Sarkareth was a Dracthyr so I wouldn’t exactly say you’re correct.

Fyrakk plotting, lol. He is so one-dimensional that there are straight lines ready to cancel culture me for this post. Iridikron knew this power-crazed moron would keep us busy.

He gorged himself on shadowflame, and we all know that ends badly. I’m surprised he managed to get anyone to side with him.
