I sent a bug report 100 times but still no one hears us. How hard can it be to equalize everyone’s renown? How logical is it to tell someone who is new to the game or wants to start over that they can never make raid progress when the renown system is ridiculous in itself? Imagine you’re new to the game and you’re renow 0.
Who wants to take you into a raid group? And you can never catch up.

So far, our developers have identified the bug in question, and a fix should be coming soon. We don’t have an ETA, but it is currently a high priority for them to fix this bug.
We’ve also seen some players report that they’re stuck, and cannot earn more Renown. We don’t know if this is related to the first bug, and will have to wait for our developers to continue their investigation.

Yes imagien me im 5/8 Mythic and with out buff and whole team is renown 11 already so im falling behind hard! and its need to be fixed ASAP or just a hot fix with all to renown 11

can’t you at least untie the loyalty cards for rhe %buff from the reputation untill you fix it? or is it acceptable and normal for you to not care that some people get benched and suffer huge performance loss for weeks on end because of a bug? this is unacceptable.

I’ve done barely any raiding and have been bumped to Renown 9 essentially saving me 2 months of effort.
The next player output-oriented rewards are at levels 13 and 19.
Looking at the previous cadence in resolving existing issues with reputation gains and with consideration for a large number of players who have accidentally had their status reset to 0, I have to say that I am pretty confident that by the time anything gets resolved any further I’ll find myself once again bumped all the way up to Renown 13, like last time.

Just started yesterday and after a full Heroic clear, I sit at Rank 1 2000/2500. I’d call it still very bugged.

What you’ve experienced isn’t the same issue described in this thread. It’s either a very interesting design choice or a bug in that there’s no catch-up present for the Gallagio reputation, so you’ve got a long weekly-capped grind to go.
With that said, the bug described in this thread where people were wrongly reset to 0 renown in the hotfix instead of 9 renown has still not been fixed, and likely never will at this point. The most we can hope for is rep catch-up implemented (again, realistically unlikely at this point).

They’ve been saying they’ll fix it for weeks but I still haven’t seen a single post. If a $50 costume was bugged, they’d hotfix it in minutes.

you just don’t see the bigger picture. its a classic way that blizzard has been using to fix issues in the game for years. just ignore the problem until the next raid tier and new problems will take its place rendering the old problems “fixed” aka irrelevant.

It’s honestly embarrassing how long this issue has gone unresolved. Players are stuck with 0 renown, falling behind others, and getting benched from raids and the technical team is just wasting time. This isn’t a minor bug; it makes the game unplayable for affected players. Fix it.

Checked US bug forums. Man. Bug situation is just sad and it gets worse and worse. New content getting pushed and bugs left without fixing. Curious to see when the true breaking point comes

i still have the same problem
i removed addons rellogd even logged on other computer to see, and still 0 renown from 3 raids.
this is sad blizard my whole team is renown 11 and im on 3.

so almost a week has passed since it was confirmed to be a high priority bug to fix.
also we have to take into consideration the fact that this same renown has bugged in several ways up to this point and each fix has lead to new issues.
Its time to admit that the devs lack the skill required to fix it and take responsibility for how this has affected players.
either give the gms the ability to fix it via tickets or untie the raid buff from the renown and make it global for everyone until you fix it which could ne never at this point.
this is not some minor inconvenience for the affected players. this is as bad as it can be to the point that we should even be entitled to compensation and all we get is silence and answers on tickets we open that say “get lost” in a nicer way

The implementation of the personal player % output buff should not have been tied into regular weekly participation but instead applied server wide over time. Unfortunately all the bugs over the last 3 months have only made the issue worse and realistically players can’t even catch up over a reasonable amount of time.
Why? First the FOMO factor where players are already being filtered out for a number of factors such as the Curve Achievement or IO score and this just adds another layer into the already pretentious selection process of overqualified candidates.
Not sure if you can fully automate the process, but checking out individual player Renown levels over armory doesn’t take long and if you have just joined the Season 2 after a lengthy absence, too bad for you because no one likes a player doing 10% less damage.
The second thing made worse in context of the personal buff is you’ll never be presented realistic numbers in terms of player performance, because you can’t even tell anymore was hit by the bug or who may have only missed two lockouts. It’s bad news overall for class tuning.

At this stage, even if they provided a drop such as: +1 renown token per boss to their loot-table for any player below a certain threshold - this would allow us to artificially catch-up to the current cap.
I haven’t raided at all since this bug was first discovered, in the hope that this would have been rectified before now. As a result, I am watching very closely to see when / if this will ever be fixed so that I continue participating in the raid while it remains current content.
This level of oversight and the constant implementation of new systems while ignoring fundamental bugs and necessary QA such as this is quite concerning. It is a shame because I have been particularly enjoying this patch - however, the two week limbo that has been placed upon us has certainly dampened any enthusiasm for this content.
As other posters have stated, please can we have some sort of update on this?

Our developers continue to work on resolving this bug, however they need a bit more time in order to make sure that this new fix does not cause any new issues.

I really hope the fix, whenever it eventually arrives once and for all, comes with a proper catch up mechanic and not “you can now gain renown again, go grind for 5 weeks to catch up”

Ive also got the bug where my renown is hard stuck at 0/2500 on renown 4 despite clearing the raid many times
