Galvanic Oscillator's are an issue

I say this because unlike the way Mana Pearls are obtainable as a ’ currency’, " Galvanic Oscillator’s" are far to hard to come by for all important crafts and unlocks (Essence’s and higher lvl crafts).

You are limited to 1 per day, and if u are very very lucky you might find 1 in a chest or from a rare.
In all the time since 8.2 launched, I have found maybe 4 of these from rares/chests, thats how rare they are.

Now its fine to use them for crafts, as this gives you a limited access to them, but for the 420 craft, you need 1 week of daily’s to craft 1 of them… this is kinda outrageous.
And thats not even the worst part, the actuall worst is that Rank 2 essences cost 10 of these (and a bunch of crates to boot) and rank 3’s require 25!!! like what… thats almost a month worth of dailies, and while saving up for this, you really can not afford to buy/craft anything else that requires them, as that essentialy delays the purchase.

They really have to be made more commen and/or there needs to be a conversion craft, something like: requiring 10 or so Full Energy Cells and some Spare part’s.

As it stands now, as awesome a zone this is, this 1 reagent kinda bring it all down… which is sad.

I used 7 of my oscillators to craft that ring/trinket thingy… I ended up getting the absolute worst trinket I have ever seen :sob::sob::sob: ( Oxidized Refuse Remover )

Now I have wait an entire week to try again and HOPE I won’t get rewarded with a pile of sh*t for a 2nd time.

A conversion craft would be very much appreciated indeed!

I did the same mistake, not realizing how rare those things are, I crafted a trinket with crit and a chance to proc 5k physical damage.
I kept it, hoping they could buff it eventually, seeing how they changed the punch cards, the crafted trinket is really crap.

On topic of oscillators being so dang rare, they could maybe add them to the dungeon as a boss loot.
Might be the case already, but I haven’t seen one drop :smile:

Don’t really think this is a problem. You either just have to be a bit more careful of what you spend them on or have a little patience. It’s the ONE thing on the island that you need to apply that thinking to. Even the ignitorcoils are pretty common and that’s seemingly the second rarest thing to come by.

I think you missed the point…

Compare it to Nazjatar rep, Hit Exalted, instantly bought both rank 3 essences and still have enought Pearls to upgrade 2 items to full, thats how much easier it is compared to Mechagon, where I could just barely buy 1 rank2, and have to now do 20-25 days of dailies to buy even 1rank 3 Essence.

And the one week you are referring too, a similair lvl Benthic (can roll a good base first, something you can not do while tinkering) takes you maybe 2-3 days to gather

Yeah they need to be more common, just a little bit.

Well I agree on that. I had to decide if keeping them or turning them for rep. Sadly enough I turned them in but at least I can fly :confused:
I didn’t know they were this rare, I wish Blizzard would add more drop rate.
