So im quite annoyed at this , the game keeps auto looting the money on corpses/mobs and no i dont have auto loot turned on and its ONLY the Money on the mobs !
I have tried searching as to why this is (started Wednsday evening 2023-04-12) !!
i would like to be able to loot the gold/money myself and not have it auto go into my inventory !
Response from blizzard is highly unlikely i presume !

Well, you’d be surprised that there is actually a function for the non-auto looting gold/silver/copper coins from corpses/bags/chests.
I tend to ask any OS pug I join if I can ‘physically’ loot the gold from the Large Satchel of Spoils for my 200k Gold Looted Achievement (locked away in the Cataclysm Expansion before I’m getting frowned upon) however there are people who still need Emblems to gear up their alts.
So I usually tell them to turn off auto-loot, manually loot the Emblems, trade the bag and I’ll repay the gold that I looted, and thanks to NRC they can physically ‘see’ what I loot.
It’s going to be similar for players looting the gold from Lockboxes (in Cataclysm Lockboxes will contain a certain amount of gold).
The point that I’m trying to make here is that even tho it looks like a ‘First world problem’ or a ‘Trolling Effort’ once could ponder the question if it’s actually broken (system-wide, duplicatable, server-wide issue) or if it’s a client-based issue (AddOns interfering, what not) or a troll.
But going for the troll option straight away would also mean that if this person’s complaint was legitimate that a potentially game system design issue could be ‘covered’ and not being fixed.

To answer all of the above , not a troll question towards blizzard nor has it anything to do with being a “karen” but i guess you fellow unemployeed must find some pleasure during the day , let me repeat !
Money on mobs are auto looted without any option to turn that off and i dont really care if its a QoL “improvement” for XyZ person, there should still be an option to either turn it on or off considering there is 1 for Auto looting everything !
But i guess instead of asking for clarification on this i should just sit back and let whatever happen happen ? no wonder the world is as it is these days
