My game keeps crashing all the time. My bios are all updated to latest version, so is my GPU drivers.
I am running 14700KF and 4070 TI Super. The game has become borderline unplayable. I used to get this error in the past but like once in a blue moon that it didnt affect me. Now I cant even play without having 5 crashes after one another when attempting to play wow.
This does not happen to any other game I play, league, diablo 4, tabletop, ffxiv…etc
Any help would be appreciated.
I have also reinstalled wow twice now. Checked my cache, reinstalled my addons. Nothing seems to be working. Even if wow is the only thing running it still crashes
Similar issues here with similar GFX (4070 Super) and CPU combo (K instead of KF).
I found reducing graphics setting to minimum, including reducing resolution helped although I had to switch to integrated graphics to get the game to load today then I was able to switch back to the GPU once in game.
The problem is worst for me when there is a lot of aoe ground effect.
I struggle to play now on a system that happily gave >100fps on full graphics settings last week.
What I did was disable Speedstep and Swiftspeed in Bios and then disable Advanced CPU feature + Work Summit. So far everything is okay-ish, FPS isn’t as good as it should be
The newest BIOS is good thing.
You must use the default Intel CPU profile as well. Most of the motherboard vendors use enhanced CPU profiles, you need to avoid these profiles.
You can enable/disable some compatibility settings in the graphics option what is connected to the CPU (or try others too).
(You can test your CPU degradation (if your CPU has been damaged already), Intel suggest install/uninstall VGA driver around 20 times. If the computer run to any error your CPU is damaged (you must send back with RMA))
Has this been fixed and how did you fix it? I have a simular problem that I cant play any battle.net game without it crashing on me after 2-20 mins. I got an 14900KF and 4080.
I updated my BIOS on my Prime Z790-A. But alas.
