Only happens in BGs from today onwards. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Me too mate. Just from today.
Naah, nothing here. Even Wintergrasp was working fine without dc’s.
YEP especially epics, had 6 in Ashran and 2 to 3 others each epic, seems ome have on technical board as well.
Not crashing but huge freezes. Like 1 min freeze

Yeah same, freeze for a long a time, have to restart wow.

Same here, i have since sunday crashes in all bg’s epic or normal ones. Before that it was only in WG.
Been working fine for couple of days.
Tried a bg just now and instantly crashed. Bgs are unplayable for me atm.
Since the release of the pre-patch, I’ve been having crashes during Wintergrasp epic BG (showing the crash report window). However, for the last 2 days, all the epic BGs have been causing very long freezes that may or may not end up in the game closing. Ashran, Alterac Valley and Wintergrasp.
Had the same for a while, made sure all addons were disabled, Cleared cache and wtf cache, and all working fine and started to add a few addons and still good.
for me was right click wow icon, properties, open file location, 2x click retail, deleted cache and wtf file… emptied recycle for good measure.
all been working fine now in all bgs
Does your game freeze completely so you have to close it down? If so, it can be related to the Battleground Enemies addon, if you have that. The latest version of it fixes it.
