still getting game freeze and error shutdown

After doing what? repair and restarts or? need a bit more

Either you need a full file scan of the game (because some file is corrupted), or you need to update some driver in your pc. There is also a very slight chance you are running out of memory, but that usually has the red circle with the x and the error that memory could not be read.
Sometimes i am in chat and game freezes and shuts down. but in lfr i get extra shut downs. with unexpected error.
64 gb ram i think.
oh i also have details, dps meter addon. thats it.
but as far as i remember also got errors before i installed that addon.
I assumed it was a new error (i have never seen it in the past) due to the new WW update. But it seems that other players in the game dont have this issue.
Addons can’t do that, if they start bugging you get a popup telling you to disable them, even if you don’t it won’t cause freezes.
Run a scan and repair

I just noticed, when i get the game freeze, my taskmanager also goes very slow irresponsive and freezes
that is very strange and dissapointing. i hope my pc is alright cause its pretty much brand new. and fully up to date aswell.
I have never experienced task manager being slow or irresponsive EVER, on any computer. even extremely slow ones. so its very strange
When it is completed disable all addons before logging in to see how it’s behaving.
If your problems continue you may need to go to the tech support forum with screenshots of the error message/s

Thank you carrotinabox, it seems to have fixed the issue.
I forgot to delete the addon and disable it, after repair. and got another error.
After removing the addon, no error yet, for a while.
Seems like i was using an out of date version of the addon aswell, which was mentioned in the game. Telling me to get the newer version.
I hope it’s fixed now. So far so good. Did allot of quests, traveled places. No error. 
Just gonna try lfr another time… To make sure.
Sounds like you need an addon downloader, try Wowup (dot) io
It will download and install the latest versions of addons and help you keep them up to date. It won’t do it automatically but it’s just one button push from the downloader.
I always open mine up before starting WoW to check for updates and if one is updated while you are playing, you can stay logged in, update it and just /reloadui to activate it.
You can also search for new addons through it.

To add to the above, sometimes when you update addons you may need to also “clear” any data they have in the WTF folder where WoW is installed.

Thanks. My computer froze even with just 1 up to date dps meter… I deleted addons and cleared contents of WTF folder as you suggested, and everything is perfectly smooth now. Never freezes or crashes.
Def not gonna try another addon for a long time. Even the power button didn’t respond, scary stuff what 1 addon can do to your computer.
Under you Graphics settings turn off
'Optional GPU features
‘Advanced work submit’
That fixed the crashing for me.

I almost forgot about that.
No longer freezes for me, but still crashes sometimes with the error.
I noticed often it crashes when I am in the middle of a loading screen. Like joining a dungeon. Using a hearthstone. 90% more crashes during loading screen.
